I was reading an article recently when  I came across the phrase ‘pottering around,’

최근에 기사를 읽다가 'pottering around'라는 문구를 접했는데 '

and I was like, whoa, I'm 44  years old, and I have never heard this  

와, 내가 44 세인데 이 문구를 들어본 적이 없구나'라고 느꼈습니다

phrase before. I've heard ‘hovering around’.  So I thought, is this a typo? No, it's not.

. '둥둥 떠다닌다'는 말을 들었습니다. 그래서 나는 이것이 오타인가?라고 생각했다. 아니요, 그렇지 않습니다.

‘Pottering around’ means the exact same thing  as ‘puttering around’. They both mean moving  

'Pottering around'는 'puttering around'와 정확히 같은 의미입니다. 둘 다

around without hurrying, in a relaxed and  pleasant way, doing things here and there.

서두르지 않고 편안하고 즐거운 방식으로 여기저기서 일을 하며 돌아다니는 것을 의미합니다.

I had a nice day pottering around the house.
