In this lesson, I will introduce several  phrasal verbs about cooking and eating

The first phrasal verb is Pig out. Pig out means  to eat a large amount of food. Have a look at

this guy. He is pigging out on hamburgers.  Here’s an example of a short conversation. 

ألق نظرة على هذا الرجل الذي يعاني منه

A: What are you going to do tonight?  Do you want to go to a concert? 

محادثة ماذا ستفعل

B: No, I want to have a lazy evening. I’ll  probably watch Netflix and pig out on some pizza.

؟ لا سأقضي أمسية كسولة سأحظى بها

You could ask Danny. Maybe  he wants to go to a concert.

The next phrasal verb about cooking  and eating is: Pick at. Pick at

means to eat only small amounts of a meal. Danny usually just picks at his meal. Here’s

an example of a conversation. A: Hey Danny. Do you want

Another phrasal verb about cooing and  eating is: Whip Up. Whip up means to quickly

make a meal or something to eat. He whipped  up a delicious meal for us in 15 minutes.

Here’s a conversation example: A: Well, I’m hungry but we don’t have

a lot of time before the concert starts. B: Don’t worry I’ll quickly whip

The next phrasal verb about cooking and  eating is Fry up. Fry up means to cook

something by frying. Frying is to cook food  in some kind of oil. Let’s fry some eggs up

for dinner. Here’s a conversation example. B: Oh no, I can’t whip up any food because

I only have eggs. A: That’s ok,

The last phrasal verb is eat up. Eat up means  to eat all of something. Eat up! We’ve got to
