why do they decide to study English there  are many reasons why people study English

kung bakit sila nagpasya na mag-aral ng Ingles maraming dahilan kung bakit ang mga tao ay nag-aaral ng Ingles

some people need to travel to other country and  they need English to communicate with other people

ang ilang mga tao ay kailangang maglakbay sa ibang bansa at kailangan nila ng Ingles upang makipag-usap sa ibang mga tao

others only want to study English because they  like the language but the most common reason

ang iba ay nais lamang na mag-aral ng Ingles dahil gusto nila ang wika ngunit ang pinakakaraniwang dahilan

it's because they need to speak English to improve  their lifestyle they want to earn more money

ay dahil kailangan nilang magsalita ng Ingles upang mapabuti ang kanilang pamumuhay gusto nilang kumita ng mas maraming pera

and I think that's great because that was also  my case I studied English to become a teacher  

and I think that's great kasi yun din ang case ko nag-aral ako ng English para maging teacher

I love being a teacher but before I became a  teacher I used to work as a construction worker

I love being a teacher pero bago ako naging teacher nagtratrabaho ako bilang construction worker

it was very tiring and also stressful so I decided  to study English to become an English teacher

sobrang nakakapagod at nakakastress din kaya napagdesisyunan kong mag-English. upang maging isang guro sa Ingles

and now I don't earn a lot of money but I can work  in different institutes and universities and I  

at ngayon ay hindi ako kumikita ng malaking pera ngunit maaari akong magtrabaho sa iba't ibang mga institusyon at unibersidad at

love my job because I can help a lot of people  not only for my country but around the world  

mahal ko ang aking trabaho dahil marami akong matutulungan hindi lamang para sa aking bansa kundi sa buong mundo

that's great and you're right learn a new language  is a great way to get better opportunities

well it depends on the student many  of them have problems with listening

or when they watch a movie or listen to a  song they don't understand what they're saying

o kapag nanonood sila ng sine o nakikinig ng kanta hindi nila naiintindihan ang sinasabi nila

some students have problems  with reading and writing  

may mga estudyanteng may problema sa pagbabasa at pagsusulat

I know many students who hate writing and reading

Alam kong maraming estudyante ang ayaw sa pagsusulat at pagbabasa

but I think the most difficult part of learning  English is to be able to speak English very well  

pero sa tingin ko ang pinakamahirap na bahagi ng pag-aaral ng Ingles ay ang makapagsalita ng Ingles nang napakahusay

I knew you were gonna say that and that's logical  since it's a language and we need to speak it

yes that's true many students have troubles  when they try to speak English fluently

well I'm not a scientist but from my years of  experience teaching English I can say that yes

I think many students bail at learning or speaking  English because they feel afraid to speak this  

I think maraming students ang piyansa sa pag-aaral o nagsasalita ng Ingles dahil natatakot silang magsalita ng

wikang ito natatakot silang magsalita ng Ingles ngunit gusto nilang magsalita ng wikang ito bakit ganoon kahusay

well they are not afraid to speak English  but to make mistakes at the moment they do it

hindi sila natatakot magsalita ng Ingles ngunit magkamali sa sandaling ginagawa nila ito

oh I understand but that's understandable  speaking a new language is not easy

it wasn't by luck I wish it was  because of two important reasons

two important reasons well I think we  everyone want to know what those reasons are

sure the first important reason was  the consistency that's really important

siguradong mga dahilan na iyon ang unang mahalagang dahilan ay ang pagkakapare-pareho na talagang mahalaga

during the time I was studying English  many of my partners quit seriously and also  

sa panahon na nag-aaral ako ng Ingles marami sa aking mga kasosyo ang huminto nang seryoso at gayundin

when I started studying or practicing  English with friends they got bored very fast  

noong nagsimula akong mag-aral o magpraktis ng English kasama ang mga kaibigan mabilis silang nainip

they got frustrated and gave up learning English  while I was still in the pad to speak in English

nadismaya sila at sumuko sa pag-aaral ng Ingles habang nasa pad pa ako para magsalita ng English

what I really mean is that I was the only one  who never gave up that's why I could make it  

ang ibig kong sabihin ay ako lang ang hindi sumuko kaya lang Kaya kong gawin itong

the other important thing was that despite I was  afraid to speak in English because I was learning  

isa pang mahalagang bagay ay sa kabila ng takot kong magsalita sa Ingles dahil natututo ako ay

I dared to do it anyway and I don't want  you to misunderstand me please I was afraid

I was afraid to make mistakes all the time  but I did it anyway I just spoke in English

every time I was scared I remembered my father's  words he taught me how to drive my first car  

everytime na natatakot ako naalala ko yung mga salita ng tatay ko tinuruan niya ako kung paano magmaneho ng una kong sasakyan

he used to tell me you just do it  don't mind that others make fun of you

sinasabi niya sa akin na gawin mo lang wag na wag kang tatawanan ng iba

after all the one who will benefit in the end  will be you because you will improve your English

tapos ang lahat ng makikinabang sa huli ay ikaw dahil pagbutihin mo ang iyong Ingles

and yeah I spoke a lot and made  a lot of mistakes while speaking  

at oo marami akong nagsalita at maraming pagkakamali habang nagsasalita

but that is crucial to learn something new  

ngunit iyon ay napakahalaga upang matuto ng bago

that is what stops many people from learning  something new and this includes English of course

na siyang pumipigil sa maraming tao na matuto ng bago and this includes English of course

so my recommendation is it doesn't matter if  you make a lot of mistakes that's how you learn
