A Short Random English Lesson Because I Ran Out Of Time!

Well, hello and welcome

to this English lesson in the rain.

I don't like to skip making a lesson.

Each week, I like to make a lesson

and have it available for you on Tuesdays,

but this week the weather did not cooperate.

Every day I had the best intentions.

Every day I thought,

"I'll go outside and I'll make that lesson today."

But then the weather would be awful.

It would be rainy and windy,

and kind of like it is right now.

So even though I had the best intentions

the weather did not cooperate.

And so making the English lesson for this week

always fell to the bottom of the list.

When something doesn't cooperate, by the way,

it means that it doesn't do what you want it to do.

And when you have the best intentions

it means that you wanted to do it,

but there were a number of things

that prevented you from doing it.

And then when something falls to the bottom of your list

it means that other things take priority

And that was the other problem,

things kept popping up,

Things kept coming up in my life

that prevented me from making an English lesson, as well.

So I thought this morning, "You know what?

I'm just going to go outside and do it."

It'll be a really short lesson.

This is probably going to be

one of my shortest lessons ever.

Let's all hope that over the next few days,

I have the best intentions

to make an actual, long English lesson.

Let's all hope that the weather cooperates

over the next few days,

so that next week there is a proper English lesson for you.

And let's hope that things don't keep popping up in my life,

that things don't keep coming up,

that prevent me from making an English lesson.

Hopefully, everything, let me see,

what's another good English phrase?

Hopefully, the stars align.

In English, when you say the stars align,

it means everything works out

and you're able to accomplish something

that you want to accomplish.

You can see my umbrellas moving quite a bit.

Did you notice there's little flowers on it?

I'm not sure if you did.

So anyways, this is a little English lesson

that isn't really an English lesson.

It's sort of an English lesson.

I think every time I make a video,

it becomes an English lesson.

I can't help myself.

In English, when you say you can't help yourself,

it means you do something without even thinking about it.

So whenever I talk on camera, I can't help myself.

I always end up teaching a little bit of English.

So a number of phrases there for you.

Let me see, can I think of any other ones right now?

Not really.

All I can say is that the weather today

is not being very cooperative.

That's another way to say it.

I'm not even sure if the audio

on this little English lesson will be good.

It might be a little bit,

like have little weird noises from the wind.

I hope my umbrella doesn't pop the other way.
