Glorious is an adjective that  means deserving admiration.

Glorious는 감탄할 만한 가치가 있다는 뜻의 형용사입니다.

So they're saying autumn,  which is another word for fall.

그래서 그들은 가을을 말하는 것입니다. 이는 가을의 또 다른 말입니다.

Fall is more common in North America.

가을은 북미에서 더 흔합니다.

Deserves admiration.

It was a glorious and colorful autumn.

Let's look at giggled.

낄낄거리는 것을 살펴보자.

Do you know what this means?

To giggle is a verb, and it means to laugh, but  it can mean to laugh in a silly, cute or rude way.

To giggle은 동사로 웃다는 뜻이지만, 우스꽝스럽거나 귀엽거나 무례하게 웃는 것을 의미할 수도 있습니다.

So it really depends on the context.

따라서 상황에 따라 다릅니다.

You can tell from this story  that it isn't a rude way.

이 이야기를 보면 무례한 방법이 아니라는 것을 알 수 있습니다.

It might be rude to giggle.

낄낄거리는 것은 실례일 수도 있습니다.

If you're in a classroom and the  teacher is giving a presentation or  

교실에서 선생님이 프레젠테이션이나

teaching and you're giggling during  the, that could be considered rude.

강의를 하고 있는데 그 중에 낄낄 웃고 있다면 무례한 행동으로 간주될 수 있습니다.

But in this context it sounds like it's cute.

Let's look at the pronunciation.

발음을 살펴보겠습니다.

Old.

So notice that Ed is pronounced  as a very soft D Giggled.

Ed는 매우 부드러운 D Giggled로 발음됩니다.

Now the full sentence.

This is the short form of writing.

Notice the pronunciation in the abbreviated form,  

which is very common in spoken English,  or in a text message in informal English.

영어 구어체 나 비격식적인 영어 문자 메시지에서 매우 흔히 사용되는 약식 형태의 발음을 주목하세요.

Come on, cut.

어서, 잘라.

So instead of saying come, I'm saying cut.

그래서 오라고 하는 대신에 컷이라고 말하고 있어요.

This is an informal way to urge  someone to do something in the story.

Come on, let's get some pumpkin spice.

Pumpkin spice is, of course a type  of coffee flavored like pumpkin,

which is extremely popular in  North America in fall, autumn.

북미에서 가을, 가을에 매우 인기가 높습니다.

Come on, let's get some pumpkin spice.

자, 호박 양념을 먹자.

I'm urging you to get pumpkin spice with me.

나와 함께 호박 향신료를 가져오라고 권하고 있어요.

Come on, let's get some spice.

Repeat.

Excellent.

I could urge you and say come  on, we're going to be late.

So I'm urging you to leave or to start moving.

In our story, I don't like  coffee, and I never did.

Now to hand someone something is  simply to give someone something.

Let's practice combining these together.

The Ed on looked is pronounced as a soft T repeat.

Looked looked excellent.

Looked into, looked into repeat.

Looked into, Looked into my eyes.

Notice that yeah sound helps link to the vowel.

My eyes repeat that.

Now of course you can look into someone's  eyes, because this is a very poetic story.

I would probably say gazed into my eyes.

Let's look at I'd ever tasted  because we have that contraction.

What does I'd?

What verb tense is this I had ever tasted?

That pronunciation of the  contraction I'd the the a

very soft D I'd I'd repeat that  I'd I'd I'd ever tasted excellent.

매우 부드러운 D I'd I'd I'd 나는 그  I 'd I'd I'd I'd have been 우수한 맛을 보았습니다.

Grammatically, you can also use the present  perfect and you would also use a contraction.

문법적으로는 현재완료를 사용할 수도 있고 축약형을 사용할 수도 있습니다.

Was the best thing I've ever tasted, I have ever  tasted this is the present perfect and in the  

내가 맛본 것 중 최고였어, 내가 맛본 것 중 이게 현재 완료이고,

contraction it's I've, I've, repeat, I've I've  ever tasted, I'd ever tasted, I've ever tasted.

수축형으로 it's I've, I've, 반복, I've I've taste, I've taste, I 맛본 적 있어요.

Notice a very subtle difference,  

매우 미묘한 차이를 알 수 있지만

but a native speaker hears that difference  and knows what vertence is being used.

Let's continue our story as we walk  through the park with our drinks.

A light drizzle began to fall.

She pulled out an umbrella from  her bag and I pulled out my hood.

그녀는 가방에서 우산을 꺼냈고 나는 후드를 꺼냈습니다.

Let's review Walked.

Walked를 검토해 보겠습니다.

Notice that's also a soft tee.

그것도 부드러운 티라는 점에 주목하세요.

Excellent.

Repeat the sentence as we walked through the park.

Oh, I hear a lot of pronunciation mistakes.

Now, what is drizzle?

It's rain in very small or light drops.

Let's practice this in a sentence.

Notice it ends in a soft D, but because  I have a vowel, I combine those together.

부드러운 D로 끝나는 것을 알 수 있지만 모음이 있으므로 모음을 결합합니다.

Pulled out, pulled out, repeat, pulled out.

뽑고, 뽑고, 뽑고, 뽑고를 반복했습니다.

She pulled out an umbrella.

그녀는 우산을 꺼냈다.

This means she took out an umbrella or  she removed an umbrella from her bag.

Let's practice that.

Now notice we also have pulled up.

This is used to say that's not a good idea.

Let's look at the sentence structure of  I couldn't help but what do we have next?

I can't help but what do we have the next?의 문장 구조를 살펴보겠습니다.

A base verb.

기본 동사.

This means you're unable to resist the action.

이는 당신이 그 행동에 저항할 수 없다는 것을 의미합니다.

So in the story it means she  wasn't able to resist laughing.

그래서 이야기에서 그것은 그녀가 웃음을 참을 수 없었다는 것을 의미합니다.

She had to laugh.

그녀는 웃어야만 했다.

I couldn't help but laugh.

나는 웃지 않을 수 없었다.

Let's review INFECTIOUS.

감염성을 검토해 보겠습니다.

Notice that three sounds in fact shiss infectious,  and the syllable stress is on the 2nd syllable.

실제로 세 가지 소리는 전염성이 있으며 음절 강세는 두 번째 음절에 있습니다.

Repeat after me, infectious, infectious.

This is an adjective, and in the story  it means her laugh made me want to laugh.

Her laugh was infectious.

You might say your enthusiasm is infectious.

This means seeing your enthusiasm  makes me want to be more enthusiastic.

The sentence structure is something, the verb  to be conjugated with the something infectious.

문장 구조는 무엇인가, 전염성 있는 것과 활용되는 동사입니다.

Let's review the next part of the story.

이야기의 다음 부분을 검토해 보겠습니다.

As the sun started to shine again,  she pulled me down to sit on a bench.

해가 다시 빛나기 시작하자 그녀는 나를 끌어내려 벤치에 앉혔습니다.

She beamed down at me, and I  could only gaze back adoringly.

그녀는 나를 향해 환한 미소를 지었고 나는 사랑스럽게 뒤를 돌아볼 수밖에 없었습니다.

Let's practice combining sounds together.

소리를 결합하는 연습을 해보세요.

Beam down at me, a native speaker will say.

Notice because we have beamed in the Ed,  

Ed에서 빔을 보냈지만

but it's a very soft D and because down  begins with adi, don't pronounce it.

매우 부드러운 D이고 Down이 adi로 시작하므로 발음하지 마세요.

Because if I pronounce beam down together,  

왜냐하면 내가 빔 다운을 함께 발음하면

that D will be for both of them and I take that  N sound and I transfer it to smooth those out.

To beam down at someone is to smile  warmly or adoringly at someone.

Beam down at someone은 누군가를 향해 따뜻하게 또는 사랑스럽게 미소 짓는 것입니다.

You could also say the sun was beaming down on me,  

태양이 나를 향해 빛나고 있다고 말할 수도 있습니다.

which means the sun was shining  on you directly or strongly.

이는 태양이 당신을 직접적으로 또는 강하게 비추고 있다는 의미입니다.

We already talked about gaze.

우리는 이미 시선에 대해 이야기했습니다.

This means to look deeply at  someone with love or admiration.
