how to build your vocabulary

كيفيه بناء المفردات الخاصه بك

to master english vocabulary

لاتقان الكلمات الانجليزيه

because really vocabulary is like Umm

لان الكلمات بالفعل مثلا مممممممممم

well I say grammar is like the bone of English

بالفعل انا اقول القواعد مثل عظام اللغه الانجليزيه

and so vocabulary would be the flood

ولذلك الكلمات ستكون الفيضان

is like the leave on the tree

مثل تركها علي شجره

or the flower on the garden

او الزهور في الحديقه

you need vocabulary in order to express yourself

انت بحاحه للكلمات من اجل التعبير عن نفسك

so it 's really important to build your vocabulary

لذا بالفعل مهم جدا لبناء كلماتك

and we can't just rely on the one thousand words

و نحن لانستطيع الاعتماد علي الف كلمه فقط

that you learn in you know in English class

الذي تعلمتهم في صف الانجليزي

in a middle school

في المدرسه المتوسطه

those are often not even helpful

حتي غالبا هذه الكلمات لاتساعدك

or real word English words

او او الكلمه الحقيقه الكلمات الانجليزيه

so any way

لذلك عل ايه حال

Ahh I digress

اه ه ه انا لا اوافق علي ذلك

so I wanna tell you the three top tips

وبناء علي ذلك انا ساخبركم اهمثلاثه نصائح

for leaning vocabulary

لتعلم الكلمات

and this are tips that I develop over years

و هذه النصائح الذي اطورها علي مدار سنين

of teaching English

من تدريس اللغه الانجليزيه

as a second language

كا لغه ثانيه

and also leaning languages myself

و ايضا عندما اتعلم انا اللغات

I lean Portuguese Spanish some french some Japanese

انا اتعلم البرتغاليه والاسبانيه والقليل من الفرنسيه واليابنيه

and a smarter and other languages

واكثر ذكاء و لغات اخري

so I have always look for way to learn languages

لذلك انا دائما ابحث عن الطرق لتعلم اللغات

faster easier and better to be able to communicate in real life

اسرع واسهل وافضل لاكون قادره علي الاتصال في الحياه الحقيقه

and connect with people like you

و اتواصل مع الاشخاص مثلكم

so that is my passion that 's what I'm here to do

لذلك شغفي هذا ماذا انا هنا لافعله

so let 's start with the top three ways

لذا لنبدا اهم ثلاثه طرق

that you can build your vocabulary English

الذي تسطيع بناء كلمات االلغه الانجليزيه

so the first when I wrote here

وبناء عي ذلك عندما كتبت هنا

Ahh in C R U I can spell a noise acronym CRU

اه ه ه في c r u انا استطيع تهجئه اختصار الضوضاء C R U

Ahh C for connect

اه ه ه C للاتصال

as soon as you learn a new word or I should say

وطالما انك تتعلم كلمه جديده او يجب ان اقول

as soon as you read or hear of hear a new word

كالما انك تسمع او تقراه كلمه جديده

you need to connected

انت تحتاج ان تربطها

in your mind with another word that you already know

في عقلك مع كلمه اخري انت تعرفها

or could be another idea and could be another sound

او يمكن ان تكون فكره اخري او يمكن ان تكون صوت اخر

it could be anything

يمكن ان تكون شئ اخر

it could be a color

يمكن ان تكون لون

it could be an image

يمكن ان تكون صوره

something that you already know and a familiar with

شئ تكون بالفعل تعرفه و مالوف بالنسبه لك

so I often use the example for learning Japanese

لذلك غالبا نستخدم الامثله لتعلم اليابنيه

Umm the word for the bill at the restaurant

اممم كلمه الفاتوره(bill)في المطعم

it 's in OISO

تكون في OISO

Ahh there is confuse some way to say but is one way to say

هناك حيره في بعض الطرق لقول هذا لكن طيقه واحده لقول

so when I learn this word or I heard it for the first time

لذلك عندما اتعلم هذه الكلمه او اسمعها للمره الاولي

I connected it with the idea of an eyes sore

اربطها مع فكره التهاب العين

an eyes sore in English is something that hurt your eyes

التهاب العين هو شئ ما يؤلم عينك

so I think oh my God when I get the check at the restaurant

لذلك اعتقد يالهي عند الحصول علي الاحتيار في المطعم

and I hurt my eyes to look at it because it's so expensive

و عيني تؤلمني لانظر له لان غالي جدا

It's just idea there are totally silly

انه مجرد فكره هناك سخيفا جدا

they don't have to be completely logical

هما ليس لديهم ليكونوا منطقين تماما

they just have to be enough to connect

هما يجب عليهم فقط لكونو متصلين بما فيه الكفايه

your new word with something that you already know

كلماتك الجديده مع شي انت بالفعل تعرفه

this is the way that we build connection or pathway

هذه الطريقه الذي نبني الاتصال اوالطريق

actually physically in our brain

بالفعل جسديا في دماغنا

we build nerve pathway

نحن نبني الطريق العصبي

from something we already know to something new

من شئ بالفعل نعرفه الي شئ جديد

that is how we clear the path in the jungle of our brain in order to make it easier

الذي كيف نوضح الطريق في الغابه من دماغنا من اجل جعله اسهل

and faster to remember new word in English

و اسرع لنتذكر الكلمات الجديده في اللغه الانجليزيه

so connect repeat is also very important as soon as you here

لذا تكرار الربط مهم جدا طالما انك تستخدمه

or you read a new word

او تقرا الكلمات الجديده

I want you to repeat it to yourself in your brain and out loud

اريد ان تكرر الكلمات في راسك و بصوت غالي

I want you say the word out loud

اريد ان تقول الكلمات بصوت عالي

and I don't mean only once

و لا اقصد ان تفعل ذلك مره واحده فقط

I want you repeat this word several several time like a hundred times

اريد ان تكرر هذه الكلمه كثير و كثير مائه مره

I'm serious you have to repeat a lot

انا جاده يجب ان تكرر هذه كثيرا

don't think there are some think wrong with you

لا تعتقد هناك بعض الافكار الخاطئه لديك

If you can't remember a new word after repeat it once because nobody can

اذا لم تستطيع ان تتذكر الكلمه الجديده بهد تكرارها مره واحده لان لاحد يمكنه ذلك

I have to repeat probably a hundred times before I remember it

من المرجح انك يجب ان تكررها مائه مره قبل ان تتذكرها

so really It takes work

لذا بالفعل هذا سياخذ وقتا من العمل

and I remember when I was six years old and I had spelling test in Elementary school

انا اتذكر عندما كنت في السادسه و كان لدي اختبار الهجاء في المدرسه الابتدائيه

well how did my father tell me to study for the test he made me sit down and write each spelling word one hundred times

وكيف كان والدي يجبرني المذاكره للاختبار و جعلني اجلس و اكتب كل هجاء الكلمه مائه مره

and I hate it but you know what it works

و كنت اكره هذا ولكني ادركت ما يعمل

so repeat

لذا التكرار

tree use it

شجره تستخدمها

ok use the new word as soon as you can

حسنا تستخدم الكلمات الجديده بقدر ما تستطيع

as often as you can

كلما تستطع استخدامها

doesn't matter if you feel like your over using the word

لا يهم اذا شعرت انك تستخدمها الكلمه كثيرا

at first you need to use it in order to test the word out

في البدايه انت تحتاج ان تستخدمها من اجل اختبار الكلمه

and you will be able to guess from other people reaction

وستكون قادر علي تخمينها من رده فعل الاشخاص الاخرين

what are you using the word corectly or not

كيف تستخدم الكلمه بشكل صحيح او لا

you have to be a little bit observing here

يجب ان تكون مراقب بعض الشئ هنا

but use the word

لكن استخدم الكلمه

if you have an English speaking friend or colleague

لو لديك اصدقاء او زملاء يتحدثون الانجليزيه

use the new word

استخدم الكلمه الجديده

if you don't know any one who speak English

لو لا تعرف اي اح من متحدي اللغه الانجليزيه

well you can always get online and you can find someone online who speak English

حسنا يمكنك دائما ان تجد احد عبر الانترنت و يمكنك ايجاد احد من متحدثي اللغه الانجلزيه عبر الانترنت

but let say that you don't have anyone to speak with in English

ولكن دعني اقول ان ليس اي شخص لتتحدث معه الانجليزيه

It's kind of commend concern that I here

انه نوع من الثناء القلق ان انا هنا

I want you use the word with yourself

اريدك استخدام الكلمه مع نفسك

stop thinking in your native language and I want you to use

التوقف عن التفكير في متحدثي اللغه الام و اريدك لتستخدمها

the new word when you speak to yourself

الكلمه الجديده عندما تتحدث مع نفسك

or do you speak in out loud or in your brain

او تتحدث بصوت عالي او في راسك

I was just telling my students I'm here in Tokyo working with our group of students

كنت اخبر طلابي انا هنا في توكيو اعمل مع مجموعتنا من الطلاب

and I said you know what when you thinking to yourself and we all do that we all talk to ourselves

و قلت انت تعرف ما عندما انت تفكر مع نفسك و ونحن كلنا نفعل هذا ان كلنا نتحدث الي انفسنا

we say Ohh what should I do today

نقول اوه ه ه ماذا يجب ان افعل اليوم

you know stop saying it to yourself in Japanese

تعلم توقف عن قول هذا لنفسك في اليابان

stop your brain same say Ahh don't show KANA

و اوقفك راسك عن قول ا ه ه ه ه ولا تظهر KANA

or ok we are saying

او نقول

your Spanish speaker or what ever your languages

متحدثي اللعغه الاسبانيه او حتي لغتك

stop stop stop and do it in English

توقفك توقفك توقفك و افعل ذلك في الانجليزيه

what am I going to do today for simple example

ما ساقوم بفعله اليوم علي سبيل المثال

so start using a new vocabulary and a new phases with yourself

لذا لنبدا باستخدام الكلمات الجديده و الجمل مع نفسك

you have to use it often and repeat and connect

يجب استخدامها غالبا و تكرارها و ربطها

ok and a bonus tip before we finish this quick tip

حسنا و نصيحه اضافيه قبل انهاء هذا هذا النصيحه السريعه

I want you to read a lot in English

اريدك ان تقرا انجليزي كثيرا

and I want you listen to a lot of English like every day

و ان تسمع انجليزي كتيرا كل يوم

you need that language coming in

تحتاج هذه اللغه القادمه في

that is how you require you new words

ان هذا كيف يتطلب منك كلمات جديده
