i'm from southern part of india very nice i hear india is a very

okay can you tell me something about your

country yes ma'am my country is the seventh

largest country area wise and it's it's a populist country and it is the second

populous country it is it is known for its unity and

diversity it is one country but it has many

different cultures religions etc very nice

uh what is your favorite part can you tell something about your

country of course

so my country is america um it is pretty big it has a diversity of cultures

so many people who are born in america their ancestors come from other parts of

the world so the culture of their ancestors is

passed down in their home but we get to experience other cultures

outside when we meet different friends or when we go to other

restaurants we have many food we have a lot of food from around

the world a lot of restaurants that are multicultural as well

okay that's great thank you

what is your favorite part among them i would have to say my favorite part

about my country would be the mixed food that we have

because of so many different cultures you can experience a lot of different

types of food and because i've lived in other

countries i've lived in china for four years and i lived in europe for a year

i miss having the diversity of food

okay so you like food right yes i do

what about you what is your favorite part of your country

the favorite part of my country is also that it is diverse and i can have

different types of people will be doing different kinds of things so i'll be

able i can know about their culture and their religion also so i can get

knowledge that's very

nice that sounds really nice um can you tell me about the different

uh languages your country speaks it speaks assamese and

marvari which which i speak

it also spin it's uh it it speaks national languages hindi

and also speaks punjabi and

and uh as i told it can

very cool so when you go to school

which language would you speak english

or hindi i guess i

like to speak in english because mostly children that speak in english only

oh okay that is very cool so there's so many languages do you find

that it's hard to learn so many or do you feel it's

actually pretty easy actually it is pretty easy if one has

the litter when if someone is determined to learn all the language it is very

easy it is as easy as taking a monthly from a baby

that's very cool i know for my my country i think a lot

of people find it very hard to learn other languages because we don't have to

so we just normally know english [Music]

just in school and everything the only time you learn another language when

you're young is if your family knows another language and they teach it to

you but when you get to high school then you

start to learn another language but at this time you're already much

older so learning another language can be a bit difficult compared to when

you're younger so

what makes it difficult is you don't have a lot of people to talk to in that

language so for example i learned italian in high

school but i had no one to speak italian to so

i can't remember anything in italian um

but i hope one day my country will change this so that way we start to

learn other languages early on maybe in the lower schools

um let's see have you been to any other

countries no i have not been to any other country

yet that's okay

would you like to go to another country okay i'm fine going to another country

so if you could choose what country to visit what country would it be

i could choose sri lanka oh that'd be very nice why would you

choose sri lanka well it would not be too hard

to go and come from such a if i would choose i can say

rashi or canada it would be a long distance and a long distance to go on a

long distance to come back but sri lanka is not too far from india

so i'll just go to sri lanka and come back

it will be not much time taking

i can also

very good so you could say it would not take much time

yes perfect so you just have to switch that

around but that was perfect um

i can say traveling for a long period of time

is very tiring and it can be very stressful

i used to like i said live in china before and the trip from china to

america is 17 hours so it was really difficult to take that

trip often

yeah

what imagine such a 17 hour strip yeah a majority of that i

think um i believe

five hours no not five

15 hours of that is on a plane and that is really difficult because you

can't really walk anywhere you can't really do much except for a watch maybe

the little tv they have on the plane so it can be a lot

yeah i get exhausted in just two hours of going from one place to another from

my place to my native place and two hours it must stick to us so i

get exhausted in that only so i can't imagine from such a long distance so i

choose sri lanka yeah that makes sense

and i think that's a great choice um

i wanted to ask something but i kind of forgot

i'm sorry uh do you have anything you want to ask

that okay and i see a is it a wall so isn't

that this is something in your background is it a wallpaper of of the

whole uh it's a um

it's like uh they call this a

uh a tapestry so it's like a fabric

oh wow it's like fabric so i like it i think uh now tapestries

are becoming more popular so they make a lot of different kinds of pictures on

fabric that you can put on the walls okay but i don't think i

i found any tapestry

really they don't have that a lot in india

i don't know i saw one i know it's more getting more popular in

my country so it's interesting to see that other countries

don't have it so much [Music]

i know you can find it a lot online like on amazon there's a lot of tapestries

like this okay so you like that your country is

diverse in food so what is the thing you think you don't like in your country man

that's a good question i don't particularly like how they

run certain things

i think they need to have what's called a reform it means to make better

certain parts of education because our education is very

expensive so university is way too expensive

a majority of people can't afford education when it comes to

higher degrees or bachelor's degree they go into debt and when they go into

debt they can't have enough money for themselves to live or to eat so it can

be very difficult to pay this debt off so they have the debt for

a really long time

i think that if they change this and they make it more affordable

then the country would be better off in the future

okay and in my place my mother says that when

it rains the cost grows higher but it doesn't rain the cost stays normal

yeah but in my native place it is the cost is uh

not much high was in this

band bangalore right now which is the southern part of

india there at the in karnataka bangalore there

when it's rainy season the cost goes a bit high

that is interesting why is the why does it change with cost

it changes my i've heard my mother talking that

in in bangalore and when it rains the cost

goes a little higher every day whenever it rains

and because because it rains then it will be harder uh the vegetables miss

spoil or something like that oh okay that makes a lot of sense

that is interesting is it it's because when it rains there is more flooding

when it rains it's not that much raining that it's flood but yet it rains it will

be hard to manage the fruits and vegetables so it grows high

every day as it rains but in my native place it is it is in rajasthan which is

in the western part of india and there it is uh

there it is a little bit hot so the price i don't as so the price

is not high

okay that makes sense and that is so cool

i mean obviously it's not good that the price goes higher but i think that the

situation is really interesting okay

so what is the weather in the place you live right now

right now in austria it's it is becoming summer so it is

sunny and it's warm but the i realize it hasn't rained too much

when i first got here it rained so much and that was in

fall so i think it rains more in the fall than it does in the summer here

okay and here in the summer also it rains a bit it's not too tense uh

tens uh a heat but i can say sometimes the summer appears to be spring yeah

oh do you prefer summer or spring

i prefer spring there will be equal amount of

rain and sunlight but sees but sometimes here it is the

weather changes very systematically suppose i can say

yesterday it was just rained and sometimes it just rains rains rains and

sometimes it doesn't rain and sometimes i can say that sometimes it the weather

is present pleasant and it's nice

cold dry beautiful but sometimes the weather is just shows up its anger with

the terrible storms oh my goodness i can understand that

like here it's pretty weird when it comes to hot and cold one

day it'll be very hot the next day will be really cold and i don't know what to

wear here at all but originally in america i came from

the southern part and

one part of your house the front can have rain can have a storm but behind

you is sunny so you never know what kind of weather

you'll have because there can be no clouds in the sky and it can just rain

and you're wondering where does this rain come from

and it will rain five minutes and then stop

and then you get really confused because you don't know if you need an umbrella

or not well we have run out of time but it was
