Mull Over | Vocabulary Series | Havisha Rathore

So here I am with another video of the vocabulary Series. So, let's start without

a hitch. Yesterday, my mother was checking her fat, and after locking the door she

was also deciding her next diet plan that okay I don't like this so and so diet

plan I will shift to so and so diet plan and so forth many more things when

suddenly a dark spell fell on my mother and someone knocked the door guess who

could it be it was my sister and my mother said let me check my fat first

even before my sister could speak anything because whoever knocks the door

really heavily is my sister not even my father knocks the door so heavily as my

sister does because my sister wants that her problems her things should be

attended to immediately right at the moment and by the knock at the door my

mother could understand that it is my sister there and she frankly said let me

check my fat first but my sis but but this argument was of no use because my

sister is way more intelligent than my mother or not intelligent clever would

be a better way to describe that and my sister said

not today first you must bring me a nice dress for my friend's birthday

party party then only will I let you check your fat and plan your diet plan now

my mother could not say anything to this because she knew very well that if my

sister starts arguing it then she won't stop it until the decision favors her

opinion so all that she could say was fine and so my mother went to the

shopping mall and selected a really beautiful dress for my sister it really

it nearly took her half an hour to select the beautiful dress because my

mother could not make choices so easily because she really doesn't know what

kind of dress would my sister like after coming back home my mother found

that my sister had gone out to play so she took the opportunity and as um and

she started making her she and she started dressing herself up I think uh

she had some work she had to go to her friend's house for something but I don't

know what but all what I know is that she was dressing herself up in her own

makeup room which is her sleeping room while my mother was busy deciding the

dress and decorating herself my sister knocked the door and broke her peace she

shouted Mommy and Ma and said I don't like the dress you have bought me bring

me another dress now my mother felt really angry at the comment and this

time she decided to argue with my sister she said you did not allow me to mull

over my diet plan this morning at least now let me get ready for a party okay so

my mother was getting ready for a party now I remember and suddenly my sister

stopped saying anything because she heard a knock at the door somebody rang

the doorbell and she knew that at this time my friends must be calling me to

play in the park and my sister knew it knew it very well and so she ended the

conversation there where I would say she ended the argument there and my mother

was really happy that day because she had made a family record of winning one

argument with my sister because it's nearly impossible to do so however we

have found our criminal which is mull over but what does it mean mull over something

means to contemplate and what is contemplate contemplate means to think

carefully about something this mull can be linked to mule and what is mule this

kind of animal is called mule so this is a mule and this mule reminds me an

incident which occurred to me a few months ago when my grandfather came to

our house for a visit and here our means me and my family's in the busy city of

bangaluru we found a mule cart we found a mule cart and so my mother thought

that okay now here we we rarely see mule carts like this one so just for the sake

of experience let me tell my father to get onto that mule cart and seeing the

mule cart I asked my mother ma can I please get on that mule cart I want to

go for one round but my mother said no my dear havisha because first your

grandfather should get on that mule cart you know he has come only for a few days

in bangaluru so he must have a lot of fun right and saying this she shushed me

so my grandfather got on that mule cart and went all around the city but you

know what he was thinking about he was thinking about his vote whether he

should give his vote to this candidate or that candidate he was thinking about

voting and in this way he lost the control of the mule and the mule went

throughout the city somewhere somewhere and my grandfather lost his way back

home and he did not even notice it it because my grandfather was so busy

thinking about his vote that he forgot to control the mule where is he going

and where is he not going and the mule was almost free to go anywhere in the

city and he lost his way back to the place where my mother told him to meet

there but my sincere mother found out that my grandfather has been missing for

the past half an hour and so she was roaming in the city looking for my

grandfather but he was nowhere to be found at last she gave up and then she

saw at a distance my grandfather was coming with his mule cart thinking or I

would say lost in his own world and obviously my mother would be angry that

oh my God oh my God why has he come so late I was so worried about him but

she could not speak anything because my grandfather is after all her father she

cannot speak anything to him and so my grandfather was saved but then I meekly

said to my mother mama can I get on that mule cart now and my mother clearly said no

because she thought that an elderly man like my grandfather got lost with a mule

cart then a child like me would obviously get lost with a mule cart and

where would I be found and so she clearly said no no my child no so what

do we learn from this incident we have learned a hack through which we could

link mull over to mule now here see my grandfather was thinking carefully about

something on a mule cart so my grandfather was mulling over his vote on

a mule cart Mull and mule mull over and mule isn't it really very interesting I hope

you've got it and here I want to tell you one more thing now this is one point

now the second part which I want to show you is that my mother was also mulling

over that where is my father where is my father my mother was also mulling over

like that she was thinking carefully that oh my God where could he have gone

not in the market not on the highway where so she was also mulling over so in

this story many people were mulling over because of that mule isn't it I hope you
