Learn the English Phrases "to give somebody the slip" and "to slip through your fingers"

In this English lesson, I wanted to help you

learn the English phrase to give somebody the slip.

누군가에게 실수를 할 수 있는 영어 표현을 배우도록 돕고 싶었습니다.

If you give somebody the slip, it means you escape.

누군가에게 전표를 준다면 그것은 탈출을 의미합니다.

It means for some reason, they were trying to

그것은 어떤 이유에서인지 그들이

catch you and you managed to get away.

당신을 잡으려고 했고 당신은 도망칠 수 있었다는 것을 의미합니다.

You will most likely hear this

phrase, to give somebody the slip

if you're watching a TV show and the police

여러분이 TV 쇼를 시청하고 있고

officers on the TV show are trying to catch

TV 쇼에 나온 경찰관이 범죄자를 잡으려고 할 때 누군가에게 슬립을 주라는 이 문구를 듣게 될 것입니다.

a criminal, and sometimes that criminal will give them

They'll run down an alley, or they'll go a certain

The second phrase I wanted to teach you

When something slips through your fingers, it means
