Today I'd like to talk to you about the two words: advice versus advise.

'advice', the noun, as in 'I need an advice from you'.

And 'advise', the verb, as in 'I'd like to advise you on something'.

They both begin the same - 'uhd'.

So, it's a reduced vowel - a schwa, and then a D sound.

So it's not [a]dvice or [aa]dvice, it's 'uh' - 'uhd'.
