When I was a little girl, I called my father "Daddy."

어렸을 때 나는 아버지를 "아빠"라고 불렀다.

As I got older, I simply said "Dad."

나이가 들면서 그냥 "아빠"라고 했어요.

When I talk about him now, I say "my dad" or "my father."

지금은 그에 대해 이야기할 때 "우리 아빠" 또는 "우리 아버지"라고 말합니다.

"My father" sounds a little more formal.

"나의 아버지"는 좀 더 형식적으로 들립니다.

Now that I have my own family,

이제 내 가족이 생겼으니

my children use "Papa" when they talk about their father

아이들은 아버지에 대해 이야기할 때나 아버지를

or even when they call to him and they address him as "Papa."

부를 때에도 "아빠"라고 부릅니다.

That's because "Papa" is used in both English and in Russian.

"Papa"는 영어와 러시아어 모두에서 사용되기 때문입니다.
