how much you all love english so in this video  i decided to combine two things that you guys  

cherish the most and make this video about four  trendy songs in english the songs we'll be talking  

about today are don't blame me by taylor swift  dandelions by ruth b habez by toblo and i ain't  

worried by love republic so let's begin the first  song i want to talk about today is don't blame  

me by taylor swift so in this song she's saying  toying with them older guys just play things for  

me to use a play thing is a person who is treated  without any respect and is seen as amusing let me  

give you another example how people might use the  word play thing men's magazines often treat women  

as play things you do not consider me a prospect  but a plaything and i consider you neither now  

let's look at this beautiful line here i once was  poison ivy but now i'm your daisy guys this song

binge on all my twinkies munchies is an informal  word that means a snack so munchies snacks  

if you binge on something it means that you  indulge in it for example you can binge eat  

or you can binge watch a tv show for example i  binge watched the whole series in just two days  

because it was so good i didn't have you sobered  up just so you could go on a binge a twinkie is a  

really popular american snack highly processed  not good for you at all but it looks like this  

golden sponge cake with a creamy filling spend my  days locked in a haze trying to forget you babe  

i fall back down the first definition of the  word haze is something in the air that makes  

it very hard to see well for example i couldn't  see anything because of the haze of cigarette  

smoke but in the song this word refers to her  mental state so she was in this kind of haze  

she was confused she didn't know what to say she  didn't know what to do only you and our family  

clears the haze staying in my play pretend  where the fun ain't got no end play pretend  

is a game kids love to play where they pretend to  be different people in different roles for example  

if you have kids they might tell you mommy or  daddy i wanna play house which means that they're  

gonna pretend that you know they are parents  they're adults and they might even like take a  

baby doll and you know like do this like pretend  that their parents themselves let's play pretend  

but what is also interesting here is that she's  using a double negative ain't and no oh my god  

guys this is so not grammatically correct actually  guys it's very common in informal english to use  

double negatives to prove your point to emphasize  something ain't can be used instead of don't or  

doesn't or am not aren't or isn't and it's very  often used in songs and in daily communication i  

sometimes use double negatives too let me give you  a very good example right now she didn't want to  

go to a restaurant she didn't want to stay home  she didn't want to do nothing i want to emphasize  

my point that she didn't want to do anything and  instead of saying she didn't want to do anything  

i'm saying she didn't want to do nothing it's very  informal so if you're preparing for the ielts or  

toefl please don't use it in writing in writing  it's definitely going to be a grammar mistake  

and now that you know what the word ain't means  let's move on to our final song i ain't worried

standing directly in front of each other right  guys be careful these are called fingers and on

spend your time as if it's gold which is also  a great way to phrase what they want to say so  

from this song we can learn that every moment and  every action counts and we have to be responsible  

with our time we have to be responsible who we  spend our time with and how we spend this time  

because every second is valuable and every second  is especially valuable when it comes to learning
