💥American English Pronunciation - Master American Accent. Part 2💥

Hello guys, today we’re gonna be talking  about tricks to IMPROVE your American accent. 

안녕하세요 여러분, 오늘은 미국식 억양을 개선하는 요령에 대해 이야기하겠습니다.

I'll give you some tips that you would  probably not study with your English teacher.  

영어 선생님과 함께 공부하지 않을 수도 있는 몇 가지 팁을 알려드리겠습니다.

This video will help you sound more  American and improve your pronunciation.

English is my second language, and I've been learning it for several years, and I've never

lived in the US. Since I've heard American Accent for the first time, I totally fell in love with

I just wanted to sound like a native speaker. And I practiced my accent, and I'm still doing it.

Now I ll share with you the tricks that  will help you to master the American Accent. 

이제 미국 억양을 마스터하는 데 도움이 되는 요령을 알려 드리겠습니다.

Trick number 1. Use phrasal verbs Americans do not use academic verbs on a day to  

트릭 번호 1. 구동사 사용 미국인들은 매일 학술 동사를 사용하지 않습니다

day basis, Instead of saying Leave, they say Get out, instead of saying accept, they say take on 

. Leave라고 말하는 대신 Get out이라고 하고 Accept라고 말하는 대신 Take on이라고 합니다.

Or for example Americans would never say something like… My car stopped working.  

또는 예를 들어 미국인은 다음과 같은 말을 절대 하지 않습니다. 자동차가 작동을 멈췄습니다.

They would say – My car broke down. So use phrasal verbs as much as possible.

그들은 말할 것입니다 – 내 차가 고장났습니다. 따라서 가능한 한 구동사를 사용하세요.

Trick number 2. Phrases only Americans use. If you wanna sound more American,  

트릭 번호 2. 미국인만 사용하는 문구. 더 미국식으로 들리고 싶다면

it’s important to use Vocabulary that  is used by Americans and avoid the  

미국인이 사용하는 어휘를 사용하고

expressions that are used only by the British. For instance, Americans always use Take out  

영국인만 사용하는 표현을 피하는 것이 중요합니다. 예를 들어 미국인들은

instead of take away when they buy some food at the restaraunt and they want to take it home. 

식당에서 음식을 사서 집에 가져가고 싶을 때 테이크아웃 대신 항상 테이크아웃을 사용합니다.

Trick number 3. Contractions with Will Americans use contractions all the time,  

and there’re two ways to pronounce them – in a clear way and in a very relaxed way 

그들 – 명확한 방식과 매우 편안한 방식으로

So, You will. You can say  You'll in a clear way "youuuul".

명확하게 'youuuul'이라고 말할 수 있습니다.

and "yull". It's pronounced in  a very relaxed way.

그리고 "율". 매우 편안한 방식으로 발음됩니다.

Let’ read them together: we'll have, they'll have, you’ll have. Well done!

It's okay to say we will have and they will have, but we want to sound a little bit more natural,  

우리가 가질 것이고 그들도 가질 것이라고 말하는 것은 괜찮지만, 우리는 좀 더 자연스러운 소리를 원하기

so we use them in a natural  way: you'll, we'll have, they'll have.

때문에 자연스러운 방식으로 사용합니다.

Let’s move on to the next trick. 4. Linking Consonant+ a Vowel. 

다음 트릭으로 넘어 갑시다. 4. 자음+ 모음 연결하기.

Let’s listen to the sentence. He's at home. He's at home.

문장을 들어보자. 그는 집에 있습니다. 그는 집에 있습니다.

We don’t say He’s at home. We say He’s at home. What about this sentence? 

우리는 그가 집에 있다고 말하지 않습니다. 우리는 그가 집에 있다고 말합니다. 이 문장은 어떻습니까?

She wore an exciting dress.  She wore an exciting dress. 

그녀는 신나는 드레스를 입었습니다. 그녀는 신나는 드레스를 입었습니다.

These two sentences have a  consonant and then a vowel. 

이 두 문장에는 자음과 모음이 있습니다.

And when we’re speaking quickly, the words are linking together and it makes us sound  

그리고 우리가 빠르게 말할 때 단어가 서로 연결되어

more natural and more American. If you want more tricks about

So if you wanna get a native-like pronunciation and master your American accent, try to find  

따라서 원어민과 같은 발음을 얻고 싶고 미국식 억양을 마스터하고 싶다면,

a teacher, a coach, a native speaker who would help you and correct your mistakes.

When we speak we don’t hear ourselves and when we listen to ourselves speaking on a recording

or the video we can hear so many things and it’s very important to have someone

who knows more that you do and who can notice your just a little inaccuracy.
