Confused Words - ADVICE & ADVISE

Hi, my name is Rebecca and today

We're going to be talking about two commonly confused words in English

And I've written them on the board right behind me so let's have a look

These are advice and

advise

Now what is advice advice is something which is an opinion or recommendation offered as a guide to action?

from one person to another person for example a doctor might give advice a

Parent might give you advice a lawyer can provide advice, okay?

So it's some sort of recommendation by someone who has either more experience or more maturity or more professional knowledge about something

Now let's look at both of the words, So advice

The first word that I said is it noun the doctor gave advice

the second word advise is A

Verb the doctor advised me

See the difference the doctor gave me some advice

writing these words try to think for a minute if you're talking about the noun or if you're talking about the action and

Spell them accordingly
