Difference between “other” and “another”

between other and another.

These two words might seem similar, but they actually have different

meanings and uses.

This is where we use another.

Another means one more or an additional one.

I'd like to order a pizza, please. Sure.

What toppings do you want? Our pepperoni is very good.

I don’t like pepperoni. What other toppings do you have?

This is where we use other. Other means different or alternative.

So, to summarise, another means one more,

while other means different.
