In a word. You can use this at the beginning,  in the middle, or at the end of an explanation

In a nutshell. This is the same kind of phrase,  but it's a bit more informal. A nutshell is

At the end of the day. What's a typical day like?  I think we know what matters most at the end of

When you have to take a lot into consideration  and then form an opinion, you can choose to focus
