Hi everyone. Let's study English together. What day is today?

What day was yesterday?

昨日は何の日？

We use AM, IS, ARE for today. For now.

今日はAM、IS、AREを使います。 今のところ。

We use WAS and WERE for yesterday, the past.

昨日、過去には WAS と WERE を使います。

We can practice using WAS and WERE, the past forms of BE.

BE の過去形である WAS と WERE を使って練習できます。

Remember we can say "there was"

「there was」 + 単数名詞と言えることを思い出してください

+ a singular noun.

We can say "there were" + a plural noun.

"there were" + 複数名詞と言えます。

Two or more things.
