ING and ED Adjectives - How to use them correctly | British English

So adjectives that end in ed describe emotions

They tell us how someone feels about something

Ci dicono come qualcuno si sente riguardo qualcosa

OK, so I feel tired...I'm going to go to bed

OK,mi sento stanca ... Andrò a letto

Or I was bored in the maths lesson...I almost fell asleep

O ero annoiatodurante le lezioni di matematica...mi sono quasi addormentata

Adjectives ending in ing describe the thing that causes the emotion

Gli aggettivi che finiscono in ing descrivono la cosa che causa l emozione

So a boring maths lesson makes you feel bored

Quindi una lezione noiosa di matematica ti ha fatto sentire annoiato

The maths lesson is what causes you to feel bored

La lezione di matematica è cosa ti ha fatto sentire annoiato

so the maths lesson is boring

So you could say...

I could watch Lucy's videos for hours because they are so interesting.

This means that you are interested by my videos

Now I'm going to give you some more adjectives that can be used in both the ED form and the ING form

So the first one: amused, amusing

Ok...The film was so amusing. it made me really laugh.
