😱 OMG Why Do British People Disrespect God? 😱

O M G is it true that the Brits are disrespecting God? Hi guys my name is

I'm here to answer a very quick question. A few days ago while I was reading

through lots of your wonderful comments that you leave on my videos I came

across this question. Anna I often hear British people taking the Lord's name in

vain. Why are the British people disrespecting God?

hmmm good question it's true in British English when we get emotional, whether

we're frustrated, angry, surprised or really really excited, you might hear

phrases like this: oh my god, Jesus Christ, oh for God's sake, Jesus

Now some people who use the Lord's name in this way are religious and some of them

are not and in fact using the Lord's name in this way is not a religious

thing at all. It has nothing to do with religion and we are not referring to the

big man in any way, so as far as we're concerned we're not taking the Lord's

name in vain and therefore we are not disrespecting God. Of course language is

changing all the time and these phrases at this point in time are just a part of

our everyday vocabulary it's how we express ourselves and no offense is

intended. So please don't think that we Brits are being disrespectful

it's just what we say. So I hope that answers your question and if you have
