Hi friends! It is the perfect time to learn  English through our flag and after watching  

this video, I assure you that it will boost up your  English. It will add something new in your English.

So, let's go off without a hitch. So friends,  here, I used an idiom called 'Without A Hitch'

So friends, what does it mean? It means "To go  smoothly, easily and successfully"

This is an Indian flag. It has three colours with Ashoka Chakra  in the middle and the top most saffron colour  

indicates courage and selflessness. The white colour  indicates peace, honesty, and purity.

The green colour indicates faith, fertility and prosperity. There  is Ashoka Chakra in the middle which indicates  

constant motion. It has 24 spokes and the  24 spokes indicate 24 hours and it means  

life should be keep on moving in  these 24 hours which make a day  

and the dark blue color of the Ashok Chakra  indicates the ocean and the sky. India is a  

sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic and  republic country. The first is sovereign and it means

“स्वायत यानी स्वशासन करने वाला देश यानी जिस पर किसी और देश का अधिकार न हो”

The next word is socialist. It means, “समाजवादी”

Third word is Secular. It means, “धर्मनिरपेक्ष, हर धर्म को समान मानने वाला देश"

The fourth word is democratic. Democratic? Is it correct?

No, it is not correct. The correct pronunciation  is democratic, democratic, not democratic.  

It is democratic, democratic, cratic, demo cratic, democratic and it means “लोकतान्त्रिक,

ऐसा सासन जो देश की जनता के प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा चलाया जाता हैं”

The fifth word is Republic. It means, “गणतंत्र, यानी ऐसा देश जिसमें सुप्रीम पावर जनता और उनके प्रतिनिधियों के हाथों में होती हैं”

Now, let's learn idioms related to flag. And let's start  with the first idiom and the first idiom is  

'Wave the flag' or you can also say, 'Fly the flag' and if you wish you can also say, 'Show the flag'

So, it means that if you are representing  or supporting your country you can  

say, 'I'm flying the flag for the country.' For  example, I'm flying the flag for my country,  

means, I'm supporting or representing my  country. The second idiom is 'Flag down' and  

it means to give a signal to stop. For example, the traffic police is flagging down all the cars.

The third idiom is 'Put the flags out' and it means  to celebrate. For example, my cousin got admission  

in IIT college. So, let's put the flags out. And  moving on to the fourth idiom, the fourth idiom is

to wrap oneself in a flag. It means to pretend  something but the real motives are to be selfish.  

For example, politicians often wrap themselves in  a flag but their real motive is to be selfish.
