So, I just thought I'll just pick up some  groceries at the grocery store or supermarket.

And we'll also learn English at the  grocery store. So let’s head over there!

Ma, take left turn, not right  turn. That is the right way to go.

Yes, trust me.

Yes, you are going right.

So, friends, what did I do?

I just gave instruction or advice to  my mother who is driving this car.

So, who am I? I am the back-seat driver.

There are many people in this world who  just say what to do and what not to do.

They just give instruction.  They don't do it really.

What are they called? They  are called Back-Seat Driver.

It is a very good idiom.

So, you can say, “I need to  go to the grocery store.”

or you can also say, “I need  to go grocery shopping.”

So, friend, right now, I’m  at my local grocery store.

So, I just thought I'll take you guys inside and  we’ll look at each section of the grocery store  

carefully. So, let's go inside.

Now, the first things we’re  gonna need is a grocery cart.

It is also known as shopping cart.

Now, we're ready.

The very first section of the  grocery store is the produce section.

Here, you can find all kinds of fruits and  vegetables and things that come from tree.

Like oranges, bananas, and apples.

And these bananas reminded me  of an idiom and an adjective.

The idiom is

And it means that someone is  very angry or is very excited.

You can say, "he or she has gone bananas."

For instance, I can say that don't tell  her the news otherwise she will go bananas.

Like this you can more sentences  and tell me in the chat box.

If you wanna use bananas as an  adjective. It means SILLY. For  

example, if someone is going out in heavy  storm, you can say, "Are you bananas?"

or I think you must be bananas.  So, let's pick one of them.

Oh, apple. I love apple and this  reminded me of a phrase too.  

The phrase is Apple of someone's  eye. And that means that

if you love someone very much, you can say,  

he or she is the apple of my eye. For example,  Krishna was the apple of mother Yashoda's eye.

And it means Yashoda mata loves Krishan very  much. So, let's pick two of them. And some more.  

And I'll also pick some mangoes for my sister

as she is fond of mangoes. I am sure she  will go bananas after seeing these mangoes.

And I also love muskmelon.

My brother will surely go bananas after seeing the  bananas and my sister after seeing the mangoes.

So, here are the vegetables  of the produce section.

I love carrots. Carrot improves eye sight.

I wanna call these things small  cucumber. But you know what is it?

And here is the cucumber. Many people  pronounce cucumber as Cucumber.  

But the correct pronunciation is cucumber.

I repeat cucumber. This will  be good for salad with carrots.

Green bananas. I never saw them.

The next section is the deli section  here you will find all kinds of meat,  

sliced meat and many more like fish,  chicken etc but i will not take

even one of them because i don't  like meat and this is the section i  

never i would never want to come.

My sister doesn't like this deli section.  So, now we'll go to the bakery section.

The next section you will usually find  in grocery stores is the bakery section.  

In the bakery section, you will find  things like bread, whole wheat bread

and I can say you'll find buns, flat  bread and many more things made of bread.  

So, let's go, I'll buy. I'll  buy some whole wheat bread

and milk bread.

Let's go to the next section. I  know where is the next section.

The next section in the grocery  store is the dairy section.

Here, you will find all kinds of things made  of milk like milkshake, milkshake, lassie and  

lassi and

butter, the precious thing I love the most  and this section is pretty much dear to me.  

And milk, you'll find milk, curd and many  more. We'll also find yogurt. Here, we'll find  

all kinds of things made of milk. You'll  find paneer, milk, yogurt and many more.

I'll pick up some, I'll pick up yogurt which is  favourite to me. This yogurt, strawberry yogurt  

and this one is the special thing or I can say  the jewel of this market to me. I like this thing.

and this thing too. This one  my sister will love. Shrikhand

I love this thing oh i think the anger of getting  less mangoes will be down with these when when my  

sister and brother will see so many dairy products and i will also buy many more I love this section

and and I'll buy some mango. This one is the best one.

I love this part and this is nice and lassi  I love lassi but what to do i don't have to  

take less because of the weather it rains  here cats and dogs so i cannot take lassie  

but i'm sure my mother will allow all of these  thai things so let's go to the next section. 

The next section is the frozen food  section here you'll find frozen ice creams  

frozen cereal stew and sometimes you may  also find frozen fruits and vegetables too  

and uh and i don't think because of the  weather of bangalore i will be able to

relish the taste of these ice creams  these different flavors of ice creams  

because of the bangalore weather so it's good  just saying goodbye to ice creams and moving ahead

but i'm sure my sister will love this section  and she'll go mad about these ice creams oh  

i found frozen fruits and vegetables look at this  frozen apple oh it's too cold it seems like i am  

in jammu kashmir standing over here now i'm in the  aisle here i'll find different types of juices and  

the best thing about the aisle is that there is  there is a card here telling what what kind what  

products is are there in this particular layer  of aisles and here i see spar fruit juice so here  

there are all kinds of fruit juices mango drink  minced mixed food drink apple drink and many more  

and here also i can see there is a label and all  the aisles there is a label so I'll just purchase  

fruit juice so i'll find the this is not a  fruit juice i just made a fruit juice there

I don't like fruit juice

let's pick one and we'll go  

pickles, these pickles reminded me of an idiom  in a pickle in a pickle means if you are in  

Cakes! I'll be fine buying some,

i need to keep it in my troll in my trolley no in my grocery cart
