So when we say, "There's no such thing."

It means that we think that that thing doesn't exist.

So for instance someone might say that they can't wait to get Christmas presents from

Santa Claus.

And you could reply by saying, "There's no such thing as Santa Claus.", which would mean

that you believe that Santa Claus doesn't exist.

You could also have someone say, "There's a ghost in my house."

And you could respond by saying, "There's no such thing as ghosts."

Which means that you believe that ghosts don't exist.

So if you say, "There's no such thing!", you're saying that you believe that that thing doesn't

exist.
