For this checkup let's take a look at the will usage for the future simple tense.

এই চেকআপের জন্য,

আসুন ভবিষ্যত সরল কালের জন্য

The first example says, ‘Jen and Paul [blank] home soon’

। প্রথম উদাহরণে বলা হয়েছে, '

with the verb ‘go’.

যাও' ক্রিয়াপদের সাথে 'জেন এবং পল [খালি] বাড়ি শীঘ্রই'।

Remember, when using ‘will’ for the future simple tense,

মনে রাখবেন, ভবিষ্যত সরল কালের জন্য 'ইচ্ছা' ব্যবহার করার সময়,

it doesn't matter what the subject is.

বিষয় কী তা বিবেচ্য নয়।

We say ‘will’ and then the base verb.

আমরা বলি 'ইচ্ছা' এবং তারপর ভিত্তি ক্রিয়া।

So here we can say, ‘Jen and Paul’ or ‘They will go home soon’.

তাই এখানে আমরা বলতে পারি,

'জেন এবং পল' বা 'তারা শীঘ্রই বাড়ি যাবে'।

‘I [blank] a scientist after I graduate.’

Try filling in the blank with ‘be’.

'be' দিয়ে শূন্যস্থান পূরণ করার চেষ্টা করুন।

Again, we simply say ‘will be’.

আবার, আমরা সহজভাবে বলি 'হবে'।

‘I will be a scientist after I graduate.’

'আমি স্নাতক শেষ করে বিজ্ঞানী হব।'

Now try this one, ‘We [blank] that because it smells bad.’

এখন এটি চেষ্টা করুন,

I want you to use the negative form with the verb ‘eat’.

আমি চাই আপনি

Here we say, ‘will not eat’ or remember we can use the contraction ‘won't’.

নেতিবাচক ফর্মটি ব্যবহার করুন । এখানে আমরা বলি, 'খাবে না'

‘We will not eat that’ or ‘We won't eat that because it smells bad’.

Now look for the mistake in this sentence.

এখন এই বাক্যটির ভুলটি সন্ধান করুন।

‘I will eat a pizza for lunch.’

Remember, we need the base form of the verb.

মনে রাখবেন, আমাদের ক্রিয়ার বেস ফর্ম দরকার।

‘I will eat a pizza for lunch.’

'আমি দুপুরের খাবারে পিৎজা খাব।'

‘Angie and I will playing a game.’

'অ্যাঞ্জি আর আমি একটা খেলা খেলব।'

Again we need the base form of the verb.

আবার আমাদের ক্রিয়ার বেস ফর্ম দরকার।

Angie and I will play a game.’

অ্যাঞ্জি আর আমি একটা খেলা খেলব।'

And finally, ‘Will she be cook dinner?’

এবং অবশেষে, 'সে কি রাতের খাবার রান্না করবে?'

This is a question.

এটা একটা প্রশ্ন।

However we need to say, ‘Will she cook dinner.’

তবে আমাদের বলতে হবে,

'সে কি রাতের খাবার রান্না করবে।'

We do not need a ‘be’ verb here.

আমাদের এখানে 'হবে' ক্রিয়াপদের প্রয়োজন নেই।

Let's move on.

Let's practice the ‘be going to’ usage of the future simple tense.

আসুন ভবিষ্যৎ সরল কালের 'be going to' ব্যবহার অনুশীলন করি।

‘We [blank] going to _blank_ soccer.’

'আমরা [খালি] _blank_ ফুটবলে যাচ্ছি।'

I want you to use the verb ‘watch’.

আমি চাই আপনি 'ঘড়ি' ক্রিয়াটি ব্যবহার করুন।

Remember, for ‘be going to’ in the future simple tense,

মনে রাখবেন, ভবিষ্যত সরল কালের 'be going to'-এর জন্য,

we start with the subject and then the ‘be’ verb.

আমরা subject দিয়ে শুরু করি এবং তারপর 'be' ক্রিয়া।

The subject here is ‘we’.

এখানে বিষয় হল 'আমরা'।

So we need the ‘be’ verb – ‘are’.

তাই আমাদের প্রয়োজন 'হও' ক্রিয়া - 'হয়'।

‘We are going to’ and then the base verb ‘watch’.

'আমরা যাচ্ছি' এবং তারপর ভিত্তি ক্রিয়া 'ঘড়ি'।

‘We are going to watch soccer.’

‘I [blank] going to [blank].’

The verb is ‘talk’.

And I want you to use the negative form.

In this case, the subject is ‘I’.

এই ক্ষেত্রে, বিষয় 'আমি'।

And so I use the ‘be’ verb – ‘am’.

‘I am’ and then we need ‘not’.

‘I am not going to’

Then the base verb ‘talk’.

‘Why [blank] you going to [blank]?’

The verb here is ‘go’.

In a question, especially a ‘WH’ question, we start with the ‘WH’ word,

and then the ‘be’ verb.

‘are’ is the correct ‘be’ verb because the subject is ‘you’.

Then we have ‘going to’.

And again, the base form of the verb.

Now try to find the mistake in the next sentence.

‘You are going to studying at home.’

Can you find the mistake?

আপনি ভুল খুঁজে পেতে পারেন?

‘You are going to’ that's correct.

'আপনি যাচ্ছেন' এটা ঠিক।

But we need the base form of the verb.

কিন্তু আমাদের ক্রিয়ার বেস ফর্ম দরকার।

‘You are going to study at home.’

'আপনি বাড়িতে পড়তে যাচ্ছেন।'

‘You will be going to learn English.’

'তুমি ইংরেজি শিখতে যাবে।'

‘You will be going’

'আপনি যাচ্ছেন'

That sounds a little strange.

একটু অদ্ভুত শোনাচ্ছে।

Remember, we don't need the ‘will’ here.

মনে রাখবেন, আমাদের এখানে 'ইচ্ছার' দরকার নেই।

We're using ‘be going to’ and we need to change the ‘be’ verb to match the subject.

আমরা 'be going to' ব্যবহার করছি

এবং বিষয়ের সাথে মিল রাখতে আমাদের 'be' ক্রিয়া পরিবর্তন করতে হবে।

‘You are going to learn English’.

'আপনি ইংরেজি শিখতে যাচ্ছেন'।

Or remember, you can also say, ‘You will learn English.

'তুমি ইংরেজি শিখবে।

and finally ‘Is he going to do play soccer.’

এবং অবশেষে

'সে কি ফুটবল খেলতে যাচ্ছে।'

uh-oh We have two verbs here.

উহ-ওহ আমাদের এখানে দুটি ক্রিয়া আছে।

‘Is he going to’ - that's correct.

'সে কি যাচ্ছে' - এটা ঠিক।

But we have ‘do’ and ‘play’.

কিন্তু আমাদের 'ডু' এবং 'প্লে' আছে।

We don't need both, so we say, ‘Is he going to play soccer?’
