WANTS = ONCE??

It's pretty crazy that once and wants sound the same.

זה די מטורף שפעם ורצונות נשמעים אותו דבר.

I recently had a voice-to-text error when I said, “Sawyer wants plain potato chips.”

לאחרונה הייתה לי שגיאת קול לטקסט כשאמרתי, "סוייר רוצה צ'יפס רגיל".

Of course I meant W-A-N-T-S,  

כמובן שהתכוונתי ל-W-A-N-T-S,

he wants plain potato chips. But my phone  heard it as once, O-N-C-E.

הוא רוצה תפוצ'יפס רגיל. אבל הטלפון שלי שמע את זה כמו פעם, O-N-C-E.

Once. Wants.  

פַּעַם. רוצה.

Same pronunciation. Sawyer wants plain potato  chips.

אותה הגייה. סוייר רוצה צ'יפס רגיל .

Once, I ate a whole bag of potato chips.

פעם אחת אכלתי שקית שלמה של תפוצ'יפס.
