How to Learn English. Learning Tips for Beginners

Let's begin with the first  tip. 1. Start with the basics.

The basics are the most important and very simple  things. Do Not learn phrasal verbs and idioms if

you don't know the basic vocabulary. Always start  with simple things. I know there are many channels

where they teach you idioms, advanced grammar,  phrasal verbs, but please do NOT learn the

words in everyday life. As a beginner you should  learn at least one hundred common English words.

The next tip is 2. Make a plan of your study (in  your native language) Write it down, and follow

A good way to improve your English is to  review the words and read them out loud.

The next tip is listen to simple English  songs, for example songs for kids. They

are very easy to understand. You can simply  listen to the songs without taking any notes.

Tip number 5 Practice out loud. This means  you should repeat words and sentences when

you hear them. Repeat after native speakers.  Start with some simple sentences, and then,

watch them from 3 to 5 times and repeat phrases. The next tip is also very important - Start

learning things that are interesting for you and  important for your life. Think about your life.

What do you do every day? Do you go to  school? Probably. Do you read books?

Do you have a shower? Learn this vocabulary  first. That will help you to talk about your life,  

¿Tienes una ducha? Aprende este vocabulario primero. Eso te ayudará a hablar sobre tu vida,

your hobbies, and your daily routines. The next tip is - Learn most common grammar

tenses. We spend a lot of time in English  class studying all the different verb tenses.

Many students find it very difficult to learn all  12 tenses in English. So if you start learning

English, use more simple tenses. The Simple  Present, The Simple Past and The Simple Future.

yesterday. I will watch this lesson tomorrow. When you are Ok with using these tenses, then…  

. Voy a ver esta lección mañana. Cuando estés de acuerdo con el uso de estos tiempos verbales, entonces...

learn the Present Continuous Tense and the  Present Perfect. I'm watching this lesson

afraid of grammar mistakes. Sometimes  beginners make mistakes, and it's OK.

People will understand you even if you make some grammar mistakes. Don't try to be perfect.

Communication is not about grammar. It's all about  expressing yourself. You can express yourself with

simple words. Grammar is important but making  mistakes is fine. We all learn from our mistakes.

And the last very important tip -  Improve your writing in English.

Start writing a diary in English. Let it be  very simple sentences like Today is Friday.  

Comienza a escribir un diario en inglés. Que sean oraciones muy simples como Hoy es viernes.

I woke up at 7 a.m. I had a shower and brushed my  teeth. I walked my dog. I made breakfast. And many

different sentences like that. This will help  you memorize how to spell English words. You

will train simple grammar structures. And by  using all these tips, I’ve told you before,
