So I might send something to you or I might  say like this is a present for you so both  

of those are fine you can use those when you're  talking about moving from one thing or one person  

to someone else okay so when we're talking  about like to you is kind of focusing on the  

the direction it's the same basic idea so this  is a present like and I'm sending it to you so to  

you like not not in some other direction over here  I'm sending it to you okay so that's the direction  

we're moving in just like we talked about before  so if we have like in two we're going we're moving  

we're talking about motion the direction into a  particular place or to a particular place and so  

if we're talking about four four is like  it's more like the like the end location  

all right it could be the purpose of something or  the end like the delivery place where we're going  

so it's a present I'm sending a present to you and  the present is for you also so they mean basically  

the same thing you can use them in the same  situation but you can see how it's uh to a native  

a native would explain it this way so they would  think oh okay like I'm sending it to you like I'm  

not you know like let's say I have a present for  you but I'm sending it to your mom okay so I'm  

sending a present to your mom and maybe she will  give it to you later so again we're still talking  

about Direction uh when we're talking about  two but four it's like okay like it's yours  

it's for you okay like this video is for you  but I'm talking to you right now like I'm like  

it's the purpose of it is for you it's yours but  I'm also talking about the motion from me to you
