I'm in a rather good mood today I am I'm in a very good mood today I'm

feeling rather good you can see outside at the moment everything's looking

rather nice and sunny but it wasn't earlier that the rain was falling quite

heavily and everything wasn't very nice however here we are now with the sun

I wasn't feeling very happy a lot of things going on in my life away from

YouTube but yesterday I went to see my mother in hospital and she is feeling

much better it was really nice to sit down with my mum yesterday at the

hospital and we had a lovely time for those who have never seen my mother

before here she is so this is my mum with me now this

particular photograph was taken it was taken about 30 years ago so this

particular photograph was taken in the early 1990s around 1990 maybe

1991 but yes this particular photograph is around 30 years old so this picture

was taken before many of you watching right now were even born let's have

another photograph of me mum here we go he's another one so this is my mother in

my garden right here in Much Wenlock there she is looking rather radiant

beaming at the camera looking rather nice and yesterday I was

visiting my lovely mum in hospital she hasn't been too well but yesterday we

had a great opportunity to sit down and talk about things and yes she was much

better and and I can't begin to tell you how happy that made me feel

I really can't begin to tell you how amazing it was to sit there chat to my

mum and she was chatting to me and sadly I had to leave after a couple of hours

sitting down talking with my mum I had to leave but my mother held out her arms

and we had a lovely hug and I told her how much I loved her isn't it great to

have that chance and this is something that I always believe in sometimes you

have to say things because one day you might not be able to do it you might

spend the rest of your life regretting a moment that you didn't have so I had a

super time yesterday really happy now there is something wonderful in the air

at the moment I don't know what it is maybe it's because the Sun is out the

birds are singing Oh would you like to have a look in the garden now the garden

has been very busy this morning now I have my live camera outside however this

morning I caught something very lovely in my garden so this is something I

recorded about 20 minutes ago in my garden can you see in my garden there is

a woodpecker a woodpecker feeding from one of my many

bird feeders and this particular woodpecker is a female woodpecker so I

can tell by the markings on this particular bird I know which sex it is

it is a female and a very hungry female as well

so yes it looks as if my garden has really come to

life shall we have a look at the live view outside so this is my bird feeder

right now so that is what it looks like now

not many birds around although that's probably because I've I've been

disturbing them so I was walking past the window and I think I think I've

scared many of them away unfortunately so sometimes the birds will come in

large groups oh there we go you can see quite a few now feeding in the garden

live is live can be and because I'm in such a good mood

let's have another look outside isn't that great it's lovely the Sun is out

the sky is almost blue not quite it's almost blue but what do you expect after

all it is still January so we have a little way to go here in the UK before

and I was too early and they told me off they gave me a little scolding they

scolded me for being too early arriving in the ward when I should not have been

nurses for going into the ward too early so the police dove the place the place

where people stay when they are in hospital is called a ward ward

and we can also use the word ward if you are looking after someone so if you are

a court of ward or a ward of court it means you are in charge of that person

or you are taking care of them so the ward is the place where care is given to

they are almost identical however there is an apostrophe here and the reason why

there is an apostrophe is because you are using it as a contraction so it's in

this particular sense and also spelling is a contraction so when we say

contraction it means you are shortening a sentence you are making it shorter to

make it easier to say and also it's quicker it's faster you can say things

much quicker if you use contractions so it's in this particular sense is used as

a contraction and then without the apostrophe it is possessive so in this

sense it is the possessive use and that's what we will be testing you on in

a few moments time we will be taking a look at the uses of those words and also
