oh hi everybody its mr. Duncan in England yes that's me how are you today

are you okay I hope so are you happy I really really hope so so here we are

it's Tuesday this is very unusual because I don't normally do live streams

on Tuesdays but here I am and the reason why I'm here now is because it is such a

beautiful day it really does feel as if Spring has arrived although having said

that it looks as if this lovely mild weather will not be around for long more

about that later on so can you see what I'm doing today I'm hanging out some

washing because the weather today it's very mild it's quite sunny there is a

slight breeze in the air and of course that means that it's a good day for

hanging out your washing so that's what I'm doing today I'm washing my towels

it's very important to to regularly wash your towels so here I am hanging them

on the line I hope you don't mind me sharing this with you but I couldn't resist I

really couldn't because it's such a lovely day it really does feel as if

spring has arrived oh my goodness I feel quite happy today I hope you do as well

so I just need to hang this washing on the line so I hope you will bear with me

and then I will have a little chat with you by the way if you are not a regular

viewer you are probably wondering what is going on at the moment well my name

is Duncan and I teach English on YouTube and sometimes I go onto the internet

live just like now hanging at the washing on the line because it's such a

lovely day today to be honest I really hate washing towels because they take so

long to dry see this one is a very large towel

can you guess whose towel this is do you think it's mine the birds are singing in

the trees they are feeling very happy today

by the way did you see the livestream on Sunday did you enjoy it I really really

hope so on Sunday we had a special livestream for all of the mothers around

the world because last Sunday it was Mothering Sunday here in the UK

I feel like a housewife doing this this is a woman's job you know

I'm really sure that I'm going to get into trouble for saying that no not really I'm just

joking I love doing the washing especially on a day like this so I'm

hanging out the washing and now I am ready to talk to you I hope you are

I do get lots of emails I get around 500 emails each week so if I don't see your

email I do apologize but I do I do get around about 500 emails each week and

about 50% of that is junk so yes if I don't answer your email straightaway

there is a reason for that I probably haven't read it yet did you have any

time to see the photos of the birds that visit my house yes so cat I did have a

look at two or three of them that the photographs I couldn't look at all of

them though because I was in a hurry but I have looked at some of them and I must

say can I just say that you are a very good photographer one of the hardest

things to do is photograph wildlife especially birds because birds tend to

move around a lot they normally flicked from one place to another so birds often

move around so yes it can be quite difficult photographing

I've been doing this for over 11 years on YouTube it's true I started making my

English videos a long time ago in a galaxy far far away in fact it was 2006

so I started making my youtube videos in 2006 and now I am in my 12th year 12th

year it's true so no I am NOT I am NOT in retirement I still have to work but I

do of course spend a lot of my time teaching on YouTube and everything I do

about universities in the UK which give scholarships well there are some

universities that do scholarship schemes and there are some that don't to be

honest I'm not an expert on all of the universities in the UK because there are

so yes it's true there is a school here a high school named after William penny

Brookes and he was the guy who helped to inspire the modern Olympic Games because

was the inspiration for the Olympic Games that we have now it's a beautiful

called Shropshire near a town called Much Wenlock it is 33 degrees in Brazil
