My Guide to London | Camden Town

Eat Sleep Dreamers, welcome to the one and only, Camden Town!

In all my years of travelling, I've never been to anywhere quite like Camden Town.

This is a really special place.

Camden is the home of London's alternative scene with punks, goths, skaters and metalheads

all flocking here at the weekends.

It's also super popular with tourists and if you are lucky you might spot a celebrity

or two.

Now I'm super excited to show you around Camden Town because I kind of grew up around here.

I spent a lot of time here as a kid so it feels like home to me.

The main reason why people come to Camden is for the market because it's got everything

and forgive me Eat Sleep Dreamers but for the next 10 seconds I'm going to become London's

latest fashion vlogger!

I'm not a big shopper ok it's not something that I do very often however I've just seen

the most amazing clothes and I've got to try them on.

Check this out!

Oh yeah!

Look how colourful that is, that is amazing.

Now I'm in a store called Jekkah which sells traditional African clothes.

I think I should try this on, right?

Ok!

Guys!

I can't stop trying on these clothes, this is getting crazy!

Check out this one, I'm loving it!

It's amazing.

Ok, enough of this, let's go and explore a bit more of Camden.

One of the things people love doing in Camden market is coming here for the food.

You can try any different type of food.

I've walked past Japanese food, we've got Mexican food, we've got pizza, we've got momos

from Nepal it's incredible.

The diversity of food here is amazing and that's why a lot of people love coming here.

I've just come round the corner from the market and I've stumbled upon this.

This is a piece of graffiti by Banksy, Britain's most famous street artist.

This is really special.

As you can see it's got a covering on it, a protective covering, this is to keep it

safe because these days it's valuable to have a piece of graffiti, Banksy's graffiti on

your wall.

Now as you are walking through London, you can see quite a few examples of Banksy's street

art just around so if you do come and visit, check it out.

In every English Hipster video, I try and teach you guys some fresh modern English.

So today we're going to look at the word 'Love' and how it's used in the gerund form these

days.

Now this is all because in 2003 Mcdonald's had an advertising campaign with the tag line

'I'm loving it' and we use it today to sort of mean that we really like something at this

moment.

So for example, we might say 'I'm loving this song, who sang it?'

'I'm loving this song, who sang it?'

So, in fact I just heard a girl in the market telling her friend 'I'm loving this t-shirt'

and I use it as well often to describe food.

I might say 'I'm loving this salad, how did you make it?

'I'm loving this salad, how did you make it?'
