Meaning of HANDLE IT - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles

So in English when we say that someone is able to "handle it" when they're able to "handle

something" it means that we believe that they are capable of doing it.

If I say, "I think he can handle it."

It means that I think he is able to do the thing that we're talking about.

So let's think of an example.

Maybe someone at work has been in charge of one or two people and you want to put them

in charge of ten people.

You only want to do that if you think that they can handle it, if you think that they

are capable of doing it, if you think that they are able to do it.

So to handle it means that you are able to do that thing.
