So in this episode Cassé and Izzy are discussing  how to implement good habits in your life.  

For this first part you will listen to three  extracts. And you need to choose the best option:  

a, b or c to answer the questions. Are you ready?

Izzy says there's too much going on  these days that end up distracting us  

from things that we really want  to do. A synonym for distract  

is divert. If something diverts  your attention, it distracts you.

So Cassé says "they don't even know why  they started the habit in the first place,  

they don't know what their goal  actually is. Or maybe they've  

forgotten." Cassé is using the example of  going to the gym to illustrate that point.

Izzy says "the very first thing you  do if you want to work out every day  

would be just putting on your shoes every day,  even if you don't work out. It seems crazy,  

like a crazy idea, but that's  the idea of the micro habits."

So how is that first part? Let's do a different  type of exercise now. But before we continue, if

So in this part you have to complete the sentences  

with the missing information that you  hear on the recording. You can use one,  

two or even three words in your answers. Make  sure that you write exactly what you hear.

The word Satisfying is the adjective form of the  noun Satisfaction. If something is satisfying,  

it makes you feel happy and content. Resistance is  the noun form of the verb To Resist. If there is  

resistance to doing something, it's not so easy  to do it. Finally, Applicable is the adjective  

form of the verb To Apply. If something applies  to a situation, it is relevant to that situation.
