Let's practice English conversation.

Hey, Emily set up a meal train for Kristina. 

A meal train is when a community organizes to  provide food for somebody who's going through  

a difficult time, like an illness,  or maybe something like a new baby. 

Oh, okay. Great. Should we sign up? 

Notice the pronunciation of 'should' is pronounced  without the L, that's always the pronunciation,  

but also the D was dropped here.

Shou-we

Shou-we sign up? Well, I don't think we'll be in town anytime soon. 

But we can sign up for a slot and  then order delivery from a restaurant. 

A slot or time slot is a short period  of time on a calendar. Like this. 

Why don't you pick a slot on  Monday for your interview. 

Oh yeah, that's a good idea.  What do you think, Thai?
