hey Lenny what's up man you look stressed what

happened oh man i am did you  remember the exam tomorrow with Mr

dalton it's the grammar exam with  that teacher i think that's why I'm  

a little worried of course I remember  i've been studying all week man but

honestly I still don't understand  some parts especially the

conditionals they are so confusing i've  tried to understand but I couldn't do it

same here i've been reading and  watching videos but I don't feel

ready this course is really hard some  topics are too difficult and let's be

honest Mr dalton doesn't explain  very well he just talks and talks

and half the time I don't get  what he's saying i just don't

understand exactly and he never gives  us examples just rules and more rules

i'm trying my best but I feel  like I'm going to fail this

exam yeah bro so what are you going to do i'm

worried okay don't tell anyone I  said this but maybe we can cheat

just a little not the whole  exam only the parts we don't

understand what [ __ ] are  you serious that's wrong how  

why i know i know i don't like it  either but come on Lenning tell

me what other choice do we have we  studied we tried but still don't

understand and if we fail this test  we might not pass the course you know

that but how could we even do  it the teacher watches us like a

Hulk he doesn't even let us look at our  own hands you know he's always watching

us well I saw a few videos  online people use some smart ways

one guy wrote notes on the inside of  his water bottle label it was cool  

oh and another girl had answers  on a tiny paper hidden in her

sleeve nobody noticed we could do  something like that it could work

oh and I saw something else uh  some students even use smart

watches or write answers on their  arms with invisible ink there are many

ways invisible ink come on this  is not a spy movie are you serious

hey I'm just saying people are  creative we don't have to go that

far i don't know we could write a  few key points on a paper and hide it

yeah hide it in our pants pocket  or even inside the mask if we wear

one then when the teacher turns around  we take a quick look as simple as

that at first I thought you were  crazy but now I'm curious i mean if  

it's just a few answers it's not  that bad right it's not the big

deal exactly it's not like we  didn't study in fact we studied very

hard we just need help with the  parts we didn't understand and that's

all but what if we get caught  mr dton is strict you know

that and the school rules say that  if you cheat you can get a zero or

words yeah that's the scary  part i'm not saying it's safe i

just don't want to fail i've never  failed a class before i don't want

it me neither i don't want to but  man something doesn't feel right

i remember what my dad told  me once when we talked he

said "If you cheat maybe you'll  pass the exam but you'll fail as a

person." Wow that's deep i don't  know what to say i know he's right

but he also told me doing the right  thing is not always easy but it's always

right that is stuck in my head i think  about it every time I want to take a

shortcut yeah I get it my mom said  something similar she always says "A  

clean heart is better than  a perfect score." She said

that look Carl we may not be 100%  ready for the exam but at least we  

tried we studied we did our best if  we fail we learn from it but if we

cheat and get caught we lose  more than just points we lose

trust and selfrespect you're right i  don't want to live with that feeling

looking at myself in the mirror  and thinking I cheated to

pass i'd rather get a low grade and feel  proud than get a perfect grade and feel

fake you know what let's just go  in tomorrow and do our best yeah  

no tricks no cheating just effort what do you

think deal and maybe if we  both fail at least we fail with

honor or maybe we surprise ourselves and  pass we've worked hard let's trust that  

yeah and next time maybe we can  ask Mr dalton to give more more

examples or get help earlier cheating  should never be the answer i am sure about

that agreed now let's review  conditionals one more time just in case
