a great way to start today's live stream oh my goodness it's been so noisy here today

for various reasons but i'm here anyway hi everybody this is mr duncan in england how

because the weekend is here it is now the weekend everyone how is your weekend are you

having a good weekend or are you having a terrible weekend as you can see here it's

a lovely day in england it's very nice in fact and the other thing you might notice

as well is there is a lot of sun around so i have the sun right behind me which sometimes

isn't very good if you are trying to film yourself on camera however i hope you can

see me clearly i hope you can see me all right on the screen and also you might notice behind

me there are some birds as well you might see the birds coming down to feed because

they are very hungry and you also might notice that the birds don't care if i'm here because

i'm always here in the garden doing something walking around having a cup of tea having

a sleep under the apple tree perhaps yes there is a lot of sunshine behind me you are right

and the reason for that is well we have a lovely clear day there is hardly a cloud in

the sky it is really nice here and i hope you are enjoying not only the sights but also

the sounds as well we are live now on saturday i know what you're saying mr duncan you don't

normally come on on saturday we don't normally see you here on youtube but today you are

going to see me because i'm here and that's exactly what i'm going to do today i am here

there are two settings that i can have in my studio when i'm playing music i can have

lying in bed and i will be having nightmares about that music playing over and over again

i am hungry i'm feeling hungry today by the way because i've had nothing to eat i've been

so busy out here preparing this that i've had nothing to eat however i have brought

some food outside would you like to have a look at the food that i've got with me right

now yesterday we were talking about fudge delicious fudge one of the nicest things that

you can eat today i have something else today i have sir some biscuits some special biscuits

these are called arrowroot arrowroot biscuits i hope you can see that on your screen so

these are a type of biscuit made with a certain type of root they have a subtle sweet flavour

which is quite nice to be honest with you it is a very nice taste and i think i'm going

to have one now because i to be honest with you i am a little bit hungry if i was honest

with you i am slightly hungry the only problem is they are not very easy to get into it can

be annoying sometimes trying to open packages and normally there is a little thing that

you can open but i can't find it so i'm going to struggle to open my biscuits i'm going

to have a biscuit because i am so hungry florence is complaining

why are there so many aeroplanes going over today

mr duncan it's not fair you are so cruel because you are standing in front of us eating food

but there is a reason for it because i'm hungry i'm feeling a little bit peckish

i think the birds are also hungry as well because you can see them behind me eating

apparently the the sunlight is making my ears glow

oh yes i can see it now it looks as if my ears have little lights

inside them because they are glowing red hmm this is good

i must be honest with you i was a little bit hungry just before starting my live stream

so i had an orange and then i'm now having a biscuit

for those who are wondering what they are they are called arrowroot biscuits they're

very nice these go very well with a cup of tea so if

you are having a cup of tea these are very nice they go very well with a cup of tea

i think so palmyra says mr duncan you must eat something

more healthy than biscuits i will we had a lovely vegetable meal last night mr steve

made one of his wonderful potatoes sweet corn and lentil pies very nice 100 vegetables and

here i'm back in the garden again today because the weather is quite nice we're having a lovely

day here it does feel as if spring is on the way hmm

a lot of people have remembered my biscuit my lovely biscuit that i've been eating over

the past 27 days it is in my studio so i haven't finished it yet however tomorrow don't forget

it is the final day of february it will be the end of february and tomorrow mr steve

will be joining us as well for our final day of this special month

well of course my last biscuit was a chocolate biscuit but these biscuits are not chocolate

biscuits so there is a difference so this particular biscuit is not chocolate but my

other biscuit that is in my studio is chocolate have you eaten

have you eaten all of your fudge there is still some fudge left i didn't eat it all

mr steve and myself we had a little a little fudge last night so sometimes we we like to

today you might be able to hear there is a lot going on behind me my ears look as if

they are shining they look like they are lit up but i can assure you they are not it is

the sunlight shining behind me yes the birds are very busy today they are

what do you mean you mean in my body i have a very sweet tooth i don't know why

but i love sweet things but i think my body is okay to be honest with you the one thing

that i'm often worried about is actually fat not sugar so sometimes i worry too much that

i'm i'm i'm eating too much fat too much fatty food hmm i think so if you eat too much fatty

food you will end up as a fatty a fatty person hmm i don't really want that hello alessandro

prejudiced person a prejudiced person the opposite is tolerant so tolerance is the opposite

of prejudice so a prejudiced person is a person who judges everyone by any part of their character

or their appearance so a prejudiced person is a person who always judges people and maybe

they come to an opinion about that person because of the way they look or the way they

behave or any part of their appearance or maybe their beliefs of course as well but

the opposite is tolerance so tolerance is when you accept things you welcome people

whoever they are wherever they are whatever they look like whatever their beliefs are

the whole landscape was white because of the moisture it had literally frozen it looked

what is the difference between effect and affect well if you affect something it means

you change the outcome or you make some change to that thing you affect it and then effect

with an e is the result so the result is the effect and the actual action is effect so

something will affect you the result is the effect i hope that answers your question

yes there are many synonyms for tolerant we can say impartial or unbiased so yes there

are many ways of expressing tolerance we can say you are unbiased you are accepting you

aware that people's habits were starting to change the way people did things the way people

viewed tv shows the way people started getting their news changed quite a lot it altered

over time so what about you do you watch much tv it

is amazing these days the things that you see on television it is quite amazing what

you can actually see on tv nowadays it would appear that there are no real rules especially

if you are watching television at night have you ever put your television on after nine

o'clock at night here in the uk sometimes you have to be very careful when you are going

through the channels on your television because we show all sorts of things that you wouldn't

expect to see i don't know what's happened but it would appear that the rules of television

have definitely changed over the past 10 or 15 years i think so for example the other

night i turned my tv on it was around 9 30 at night

and i was flicking around the channel pressing my remote control

and suddenly i couldn't believe what i saw it was naked people naked with no clothes

on everything just completely naked everything just there hello hello everything everything

just naked not only that but the camera was also going very close to certain parts of

the body and i couldn't believe it so this is actually on tv in in the evening when people

are sitting down maybe your family are all gathered around because of course at the moment

because we are in lockdown lots of people are getting together in their families and

they are doing things together i can't believe it

christina watches television i normally watch nature documentaries on tv i like travel programs

art i don't like violent movies but actions or adventures

actions or adventures are okay some very interesting questions coming today

but what about you are there certain things that you can't show on television in your

country because it would appear that all of the laws and the rules surrounding what you

can show on television and what you can't show have changed a lot over the years

naked people so basically what you would have is have some ladies who were completely naked

kid quite a lot i've just realized this is quite a nice effect look at that so there

are hollywood movies that spend millions and millions of dollars just to get this this

effect can you see it so this particular type of effect is called a lens flare and quite

often you will find movies will have this thing called lens flare there it is it's gone

now lens flare is what happens when the sunlight streams across your lens and then it breaks

up the pattern of light you can see that the light has been broken up it's been affected

by the lens so as the light hits the lens you get something called lens flare and there

it is so yes there is a little bit of lens flare today

jj abrahams quite likes having lens flare in his movies but this is real lens flare

this is real so what you're seeing now above my head is actually real lens flare it isn't

that so i don't have cable i don't have satellite tv i don't have any of that i used to have

netflix does anyone watch netflix i don't have that anymore i used to have it but then

about seven months ago i stopped it i cancelled my netflix and to be honest with you if i

was honest i don't miss it i don't miss my netflix at all it doesn't actually bother

me well that's interesting thank you liz things

that you can't show on television apparently in korea you can't show people smoking smoking

cigarettes so does that include vaping as well can you show vaping on tv in korea it's

a little bit like here we have we have rules about smoking on tv but the rules sometimes

can be broken for certain reasons especially when you are showing an old tv show so maybe

an old television program from the 1980s or 70s or 1960s you might see lots of people

smoking cigarettes so sometimes yes i think the rule is in place here as well but we don't

we don't censor smoking but we do discourage we discourage smoking

that is explicit is something that is shown without hiding anything it is explicit and

quite often tv companies will push further and further they will keep doing things to

try and get a reaction so i think these days television is a little bit like a big contest

all of the tv and the television program makers are all trying to to get their viewers so

they have to try more shocking things every single time they have to try things each time

to try and keep you watching the same thing also happens here on youtube as well i think

there are people on youtube who do things because they want to have attention they want

to get noticed if you haven't already noticed here the sun is really coming over now

does it make a sound i wonder i haven't met many people who have glass eyes

yes i used to watch that as well it was about a family of explorers i think actually they

were trying to find their fortune they were prospectors so we are going back quite a long

way prospectors used to travel around trying to find their fortune quite often if they

were looking for gold for example so you would have prospectors who would travel around looking

for their fortune they would look for gold which was very common in the past in the united

states little house on the prairie i if i remember right then the family name was the

ingles is that right ingles i think it was the ingle family i also remember the father

as well the father his name the actor was michael landon am i right a deeply religious

man by the way very religious he was another person with a glass eye this is a

very interesting subject i didn't think we were going to talk about this today yes another
