Subjective or Objective - What is the difference? It's time to Learn English

There is no doubt that English is a confusing language.

There are many occasions where confusion might arise.

For example, there are two words in English that seem very similar,

but are used in very different ways.

The words are 'subjective' and 'objective'.

They sound similar and they look very similar when they're written down,

but their meanings are quite the opposite.

First of all, if we talk about something that is subjective,

we are talking about a person's personal opinion,

their actual opinion on something.

So you might ask a person what they think

about a certain thing and they will give you the answer.

They will give you their opinion.

The answer is their own opinion.

It is subjective

or it is a good example of subjectivity.

A painting

might appeal to one person, but maybe to another.

They find it confusing and maybe even dull and boring.

That is subjective.

We are talking about the subjective view

and then of course we have a subjective object.

If means you are looking at things through the lens

of facts, things

that have been proven to be true or real,

something objective is referring

to a thing that is a fact.

It is a fact, but it is something

that is true or has been proven.

about those two words, subjective and objective,
