PEDESTRIAN | Learn English Vocabulary Meaning, Grammar, and Usage in Example English Sentences

అందరికీ హాయ్. నా పేరు ఎస్తేర్.

And in this video, I'm going to  talk about the word ‘pedestrian’. 

మరియు ఈ వీడియోలో, నేను 'పాదచారులు' అనే పదం గురించి మాట్లాడబోతున్నాను.

A pedestrian is somebody who is walking.

పాదచారులు అంటే నడిచే వ్యక్తి.

They might be walking on the street.

వారు వీధిలో నడుస్తూ ఉండవచ్చు.

Or on the sidewalk where all  the stores and restaurants are. 

లేదా అన్ని దుకాణాలు మరియు రెస్టారెంట్లు ఉన్న కాలిబాటలో.

The sidewalk or pedestrians might be  crossing the street on a crosswalk. 

కాలిబాట లేదా పాదచారులు క్రాస్‌వాక్‌లో వీధిని దాటవచ్చు.

That's the section with the white lines where you  have to go if you want to go to the other side. 

అటువైపు వెళ్లాలంటే తెల్లటి గీతలున్న సెక్షన్ అది.

So let's look at these example sentences.

కాబట్టి ఈ ఉదాహరణ వాక్యాలను చూద్దాం.

“Don't hit the pedestrian.”

"పాదచారులను కొట్టవద్దు."

Okay.

సరే.

So in Korea there are very many cars and drivers

కాబట్టి కొరియాలో చాలా మంది కార్లు మరియు డ్రైవర్లు ఉన్నారు

and they have to be  careful not to hit the people that are walking.

మరియు వారు నడిచే వ్యక్తులను కొట్టకుండా జాగ్రత్త వహించాలి.

The pedestrians.

పాదచారులు.

So "Don't hit the pedestrian."

కాబట్టి "పాదచారులను కొట్టవద్దు."

The pedestrian crosses the crosswalk.

పాదచారి క్రాస్‌వాక్‌ను దాటాడు.

Again, the crosswalk is where the white lines are.

మళ్ళీ, క్రాస్‌వాక్ అంటే తెల్లటి గీతలు ఉన్న చోట.

You have to walk there if you  want to go to the other side.

అటువైపు వెళ్లాలంటే అక్కడ నడవాలి.

The pedestrian crosses the crosswalk.

పాదచారి క్రాస్‌వాక్‌ను దాటాడు.

The last example is,

చివరి ఉదాహరణ,

"There are many pedestrians on the sidewalk."

"కాలిబాటలో చాలా మంది పాదచారులు ఉన్నారు."

Remember, ‘sidewalk’ is the area next to the street where pedestrians should walk.

గుర్తుంచుకోండి, 'కాలిబాట' అనేది పాదచారులు నడవాల్సిన వీధి పక్కన ఉన్న ప్రాంతం.

It's safer, right?

ఇది సురక్షితమైనది, సరియైనదా?

So "There are many pedestrians on the sidewalk."

కాబట్టి "కాలిబాటలో చాలా మంది పాదచారులు ఉన్నారు."

Okay. And so that's how we use ‘pedestrian’.

సరే. కాబట్టి మనం 'పాదచారుల'ని ఎలా ఉపయోగిస్తాము.

Remember, it means somebody who's walking.

గుర్తుంచుకోండి, అది నడిచే వ్యక్తి అని అర్థం.
