'choose'와 'lose'라는 두 가지 동사에 초점을 맞출 것입니다.

Now let's have a look and a few sentences.

이제 살펴보고 몇 문장을 봅시다.

First, I made my choice.

먼저 선택을 했습니다.

I choose spaghetti.

저는 스파게티를 선택합니다.

Now the verb 'choose' as you know,

이제 동사 'choose'는 아시다시피,

.... and means making a choice.

.... 그리고 선택을 한다는 뜻입니다.

And the spelling is with double-o. Okay?

그리고 철자는 double-o입니다. 좋아요?

There are two O's in the verb 'choose' - present tense.

동사 'choose'에는 현재 시제인 O가 두 개 있습니다.

'I chose pasta, yesterday.'

'나는 어제 파스타를 골랐어.'

Now the difference is now it's past tense.

이제 차이점은 이제 과거 시제입니다.

And the verb in its past form only has one 'o' and it's pronounced 'chose'.

그리고 동사의 과거형은 'o'가 하나만 있고 '선택하다'로 발음됩니다.

Okay, so 'choose' - present tense.

But then if we take the second sentence and we say,
