Any plans for the weekend? Yeah, we're going glamping upstate.

‘Glamping’ is a mix of the word ‘glamour’  and ‘camping’ and it means luxurious camping,  

'글램핑(Glamping)'은 '글래머(glamour)' 와 '캠핑(camping)'의 합성어로 고급스러운 캠핑을 의미합니다. 예를 들어

like in a permanent tent with a nice, real bed,  for example.

멋진 실제 침대가 있는 영구 텐트와 같은 곳입니다 .

Also, ‘upstate’ is the area of New  York State north of New York City.

또한 '업스테이트'는 뉴욕시 북쪽의 뉴욕주 지역입니다.

It's a big canvas tent set up next  to a creek and it has a porch. 

옆에 설치된 큰 캔버스 텐트이며 현관이 있습니다.

That sounds like the kind of thing my  husband would like. He doesn't like
