Most Common Words: OUT (#43) 🗣

Out And this word doesn't reduce. 

アウト そしてこの言葉は減りません。

We have the OW diphthong [aʊ] 

OW 二重母音 [aʊ]

and the T consonant -- Out, out 

と T 子音があります。アウト、 アウトです。

And just like P, T is a stop consonant. We don't usually release it

if it comes at the end of a  thought group, or if the next

word begins with a consonant. Let's look at some examples.

'Watch out' -- end of the phrase,

an unreleased T -- Watch out.

I cut off the air, so it's  not 'watch out, watch out'.

That would just sound like there's  no T, but with an abrupt stop:

Watch out without the falling intonation,  it sounds like a t to us. watch out.
