Great! It is such a relief to be heading into  the weekend with the Johnson project done. 

素晴らしい！ ジョンソンのプロジェクトが完了して週末を迎えることができて、とてもホッとしています。

Heading into is a phrasal verb that  means going into something, for example,  

Heading into は、 何かに入ることを意味する句動詞です。たとえば、

I was heading into the kitchen when  I saw a mouse run across the floor. 

私はキッチンに向かっていましたが、 ネズミが床を横切って走っているのが見えました。

But we also use it for time, when  we're at the beginning of a chunk  

しかし、週末に向かうときなど、時間の始まりにあるときも、この言葉を時間の意味で使います

of time like heading into the weekend. Or could say I'm heading into the summer  

。 あるいは、休暇の予定もなく夏に突入するとも言えます

with no vacation plans.

I did. That was a tight deadline.

やった。 それはタイトな締め切りでした。

A deadline is the date at which  you need to have something done. 

期限とは、 何かを完了する必要がある日付です。

A tight deadline is one where you're not sure  if you have enough time to complete the task. 

期限が迫っている場合は、 タスクを完了するのに十分な時間があるかどうかわからない状態です。

Tight deadlines are stressful.

締め切りが厳しいとストレスがたまります。
