i can't do this i can handle this pressure  they are exploiting me at this job i

quit i'm very excited this is my first day at  work and I'm sure it's going to be a great day  

welcome Alex you arrived early very good today is  your first day right oh good morning Mr roberts  

and yes sir i'm really excited to start that's  the attitude I like to see but let me be honest  

with you this job is not easy we're working on  a big project and we need all hands on deck are  

you ready to work hard of course I'm ready  to do my best i am sure I can learn a lot  

of new things in this job good follow me i'll  introduce you to your team and explain your

task this is Sara she's in charge of the  reports she will show you what to do hi  

Alex welcome to the team this is my office  but you will be working next to this one

you will help us check these  documents and make sure there are no

mistakes we have a deadline so we need  to work fast i'll explain the rest in a

moment the documents are over here wait a moment  

i will give them to you there are a lot of  them but once you get used to the job you're  

probably finish it in less time don't worry if  you have any questions please ask Sara or stop  

by my office anytime we are here to help oh nice  to meet you Sarah wow you're right there are many  

documents here but I'm sure I'll get used to the  work and little by little I'll do it faster don't  

worry so I just check for the mistakes and  then what do I have to do or just check them

yes but also organize them by  category and send them to the next

department we have hundreds to go through  today so we need to move quickly oh also  

and don't forget to upload the report to your  computer we have an online reporting system  

so you review the documents do what SAR  told you and then upload it to the report

documents wow this is exhausting i've been  doing this for hours this is boring and tiring

today the deadline is coming and we are  all working nonstop so no breaks for today

no breaks that's crazy i thought  work would be more I don't know

relaxed relax not here this is a  fastpaced job we all have to do our part

but it feels like too much pressure  well I have to go to the bathroom i

Sara no is this job always this um stressful  it feels like they expect too much from

us welcome to the real world kid every job has

pressure if you can handle it maybe you are  not in the right place you should consider that

um but don't you feel like they are asking for too

much well it's called work for a reason if it  were easy they wouldn't pay us i just think  

they are pushing too hard it's like they  are exploiting us i have too much to do  

exploiting no that's just how things work in a  serious job if you want to succeed you have to  

deal with it i was in your shoes too i started  as an administrative assistant just like you

i know the work is hard and there is a  lot of pressure but that's how it is in  

every job just work hard and eventually  your next promotion will come that's how  

I did it yeah okay you're right  i uh I will keep working see you

later i can't take it anymore it's not even  lunchtime yet and I'm already so tired i think  

this job is too much pressure it's a lot they  say that's normal that we are part of a team

everyone has to contribute but don't  you think we deserve more breaks i  

don't know this doesn't feel right to  me it's not like in the college i am

bored mark we need you to complete your reports  by 400 p.m please because we have a meeting later  

i can't do this i can handle this pressure  they are exploiting me at this job i

quit alex what time is it shouldn't you  be working right now is everything okay  

actually sir no it is not okay i don't think  this job is for me it's just too much i feel  

like I'm being forced to work too  hard i shouldn't be doing so many

things i don't like being pressured  all the time and given deadlines  

it is not for me i see well Alex this  is how the real world works hard work

deadlines and pressure are part of every  serious job you can't expect everything  

to be easy i understand but I just don't think  I can handle it i don't like feeling this way  

well if that's how you feel then maybe  this isn't the right place for you

Alex i think I should leave i'm sorry but  I don't want to work like this or can you  

give me less work no I can't i need somebody who  really wants to work hard if that's your decision  

I respect it but let me give you one piece of  advice no matter where you go work will always  

have pressure if you want to succeed you have  to learn to deal with it you have to work hard

i'm not going to allow myself to be exploited  at work like that who does he think he

is i just want a good job is it normal to be  pressured like that what do you think i hope
