English Conversation Practice (At the office - bad friends) Improve English Speaking Skills

Hello Alex how was your weekend mine  was really tiring but it was awesome  

hey Rick my weekend was great  I went to a festival with my

family oh that's great I hope you had a  great time together I mean with your family

yes we went to the festival we  ate delicious food everything was

perfect we had a great time and where did you  go because you told me last time you didn't have

money well yeah I had some money problems but  it's okay we could go to the movies to the  

movies but how could you go to  the movies if you don't have money

man don't tell anybody but Brenda lend me  some money on Friday that's why I don't  

want people to know that because you  know there are many gossipers in this

company tell me about it I perfectly know that  don't worry hey it's late yeah you're right I  

have to start my work I have to deliver some  reports today I didn't do it on Friday because  

I have to go home early happily the boss hasn't  arrived yet so I will finish with the reports  

and then I'll put them in  the boss's office see you

later yeah sure I also have to  work I guess I'll see you at

lunchtime good morning Alex have you seen  Rick I have been looking for him since the

morning hey morning Brian Rick yeah yeah  he was here 2 minutes ago why I need him  

to do me a favor I was going to tell  him that on Friday but I couldn't find

him oh is it about money because he  won't probably lend you any money

Brian no it's not about money it's  about some reports I I need help I  

don't understand reports oh even worse  I don't think he can help you with

that what why do you say that he  promised he will help me with those

reports I don't want him to do them  for me I just need to ask him something

there is one part I don't understand and he  is the only person who can help me that's

it well maybe he's in the same area of  work as you but I don't think he can  

help you I can't tell you much but he's not  very responsible with the reports he has to

deliver he never delivers them on time he's  always living early for any problem he has  

all the time the boss hasn't noticed yet  but he will noce someday I am sure he's  

not responsible well I know he has a family  maybe he had a problem and that's why he had  

to live early problem no he went to the beach  or to the movies he always goes out with his  

family really well that's good I mean it is  great he can go out with his family don't you

think no it's not okay he's always leaving  work early he never meets his work schedule  

I'm telling you he's not a responsible  person if I were you I wouldn't ask him for

help um well if you say so but I  think it's great he goes out with his

family but he doesn't have  money to do that he is broke

doesn't have money but he  decides to go out to the movies

anyway well maybe he has enough money  to take his family to the movies I think  

that's fine no you don't understand he  doesn't have any money nothing he had  

to he had to ask Branda to lend him some  money can you believe that I can't believe

it so what we have all borrowed money at some  point in our lives I don't see anything wrong  

with borrowing money especially if  it's for your family I think that's  

a good reason but he will never pay that  money back back how could he do it he's

broke how do you know that it's  his problem you shouldn't do that I

mean mind your own business let  him be I'd better look for him take

care yeah sure go ahead these

people hey Alex have you seen Brian I suppose he's  

looking for me but I can't find him Rick  yeah he was here some minutes ago but he

left oh all right thank you if you  see him tell him to go to my office

please are you sure I mean  are you sure you want to help

him yeah I promise to help him on Friday  but I had to leave earlier so I couldn't do

it well he started working here last  year is maybe taking advantage of

you what what do you mean  is he taking advantage of me

how well I'm not a gossip but he wants  your job he wants to learn and then get  

your job really I think that's something  normal he has to work hard to get it

yeah but he's only using you to learn as  much as possible then he will take your

job I don't think that can happen and if  it happens then that's okay it could mean  

I am not the best person for this job I am  sure I am the best for this job don't worry  

well I'm just telling you be careful  not everyone in this office is a good

person I know that but I like Brian he seems very  honest to me don't worry if you say so well I have  

to get back to work I hope you have a great day  my friend sure have a good day and don't forget  

to tell Brian I'm looking for him please thank  you what oh I know what you're thinking I don't  

know Alex is a bad person right I know he can't  keep a secret that's why I never tell him the

truth or what would you do if you had a  partner like him I would really like to
