Please Share Your English Lesson Ideas!

So I thought I would ask you a few questions.

I thought I would take you for a little walk

down this trail, and as we're walking,

I thought I would ask you a few questions

about the type of content,

the type of English lessons

that you'd like to see on this channel.

You see, I've always been someone

that has lots of ideas and I still do have lots of ideas,

but I wanna make sure I'm making English lessons

that you like.

I wanna make sure that I'm making English lessons

that you enjoy and that help you

with your English learning.

So let's start first by talking about the Tuesday lessons.

I have this little action cam now

and I'm hoping to use this action cam

to make more English lessons on location.

I want to go places to make English lessons.

Sorry, I was tilting there a bit

'cause the path is a little bit hard to walk along.

This is a path that my son made

in the little bit of woods behind my house.

Anyways, I would love to make more English lessons

at different places.

I'm planning on making an English lesson at the mall,

but if you have any ideas, if there's any places

where you would like me to go to make an English lesson,

please put those ideas in the comments below.

I can't always honor every single request,

but I think it would be fun to just get an idea

of where you would like me to go to make an English lesson.

And then I think that will motivate me to do it.

If I know a lot of people want me to make a certain type

of lesson in a certain place, I'll be more eager to do it.

The second thing is for my Friday lessons.

If you watch my Friday live lessons

you'll notice that I usually teach a lot of vocabulary.

I teach some words and phrases, and I teach some vocabulary

all on one single topic.

And I'll be honest, that's probably the type

of English lesson where I am running out

of ideas a little bit.

I only have about 30 ideas left.

I know that sounds like a lot of ideas,

but I usually have 50 or 60 ideas on my list,

and I feel like I'm running a little bit low.

So if you are someone who watches those Friday live lessons

or maybe you watch the repeat lesson,

the little shorter version, a couple days later,

please again, in the comments below, leave me some ideas.

Now, I know a lot of you

want me to do lessons about grammar.

I usually do avoid those.

So going forward, I would love to do lessons about,

oh, by the way, this looks a little bit spooky here.

This part of the path, it gets darker.

By the way, I am going to do a lesson about spooky places.

It's coming up in a few weeks.

Hopefully I can get that one done before Halloween.

What was I saying though?

I do usually avoid lessons about grammar.

It's just not something that excites me.

But if that's something that you really, really want to see

leave that in the comments below as well.

If enough people say that that's something

that they want to see, I will try to refocus again on that.

I started making lessons a few years ago

on different grammar concepts, different verb tenses

and conjugations, and then I kind of gave up on it

after doing about five or six of them.

It just wasn't something that I enjoyed.

So if there's different styles of lessons that you like,

by the way, this is a little random,

but I do like to show you things like this tree.

This is one of my favorite trees right now

and it's right alongside the river.

So this is a really nice place to come

and think, a place to come and ponder,

what should I make English lessons about

for the next little while?
