English Phrasal Verbs: Get On / Along With Someone

video, but in this video I'm going to focus on the phrasal verb 'get on with'. So,

to get on with someone is to like someone... to connect with someone. So, when

누군가와 잘 지낸다는 것은 누군가를 좋아한다는 것입니다 ... 누군가와 연결된다는 것입니다. 그래서

I met my wife,

아내를 만났을 때

I liked her, we connected, we got on with each other. Now, in American English, we

좋아했고, 통했고, 서로 잘 지냈어요. 자, 미국식 영어로는

say get along.

get along이라고 합니다.

So, instead of get on with its get along with. Here's another example: he doesn't

그래서, 그것과 함께 지내는 대신에 . 여기 또 다른 예가 있습니다. 그는 시어머니와 어울리지 않거나

get on with his mother-in-law or in American English, he doesn't get along

미국식 영어로 시어머니와 사이가 좋지 않습니다

with his mother-in-law. He gets on with everyone or he gets along with everyone.
