Auxiliary / Helping Verbs 🤝

Have you ever heard of a "helping  verb" before? Maybe you've heard  

이전에 '조동사'에 대해 들어본 적이 있나요 ? 아마도

the more fancy name, "auxiliary". Pronounced with a G and a Z, auxiliary. 

'보조'라는 더 멋진 이름을 들어보셨을 것입니다. G와 Z로 발음됩니다.

This word means additional. the airplane has  auxiliary fuel tanks. So, the main tanks and then,  

이 단어는 추가를 의미합니다. 비행기에는 보조 연료 탱크가 있습니다. 즉, 메인 탱크에 이어

additional auxiliary tanks. And yes, I find  that word pretty hard to pronounce. So, let's  

추가 보조 탱크입니다. 그리고 네, 그 단어는 발음하기 꽤 어려운 것 같아요. 그러니

just stick with helping verbs. A helping verb is  not the main verb. For example, "I can hear you."  

조동사에만 집중해 봅시다. 조동사는 주동사가 아닙니다. 예를 들어, "당신의 말을 들을 수 있습니다."

"Here" is my main verb. It's stressed. I can hear you - here you. 

"여기"는 나의 주요 동사입니다. 스트레스를 받았습니다. 나는 당신의 말을들을 수 있습니다 – 여기 있습니다.

"Can" is our helping verb, it's not stressed, in  fact, it's reduced, it's said very, very quickly. 

"Can"은 조동사입니다. 강세를 나타내지 않고 실제로는 줄여서 아주 아주 빠르게 말합니다.

I can hear you, can, can. Very different from hear - can. 

나는 당신의 말을들을 수 있습니다. 할 수 있습니다. 듣는 것과는 매우 다릅니다 - 할 수 있습니다.

You want that different quality of stressed,  and unstressed syllables when speaking English.

영어로 말할 때 강세가 있는 음절과 강세가 없는 음절의 품질이 서로 다르기를 원합니다.
