Understanding Prepositional Phrases as Adverbials

One or more adverbials can fit into  a sentence. We often need them to  

하나 이상의 부사가 문장에 들어갈 수 있습니다 .

answer questions like when, where, how, and why.

언제, 어디서, 어떻게, 왜 같은 질문에 답해야 하는 경우가 종종 있습니다.

Prepositional phrases are one kind of adverbial.  They're often at the end of a sentence.

전치사구는 부사의 한 종류입니다. 문장 끝에 나오는 경우가 많습니다.

I took a walk in the park.

나는 공원을 산책했다.

We can move them to the front for emphasis.

강조하기 위해 앞쪽으로 이동할 수 있습니다.

On Thursday, I have a piano lesson.

목요일에는 피아노 레슨이 있어요.

The initial position is especially  common when we express our view.

초기 위치는 우리의 견해를 표현할 때 특히 일반적입니다.

In all honesty, your English is amazing.

솔직히 말하면, 당신의 영어는 정말 놀랍습니다.

When we have more than one adverbial together,  we usually follow the order manner, place, time.

두 개 이상의 부사가 함께 있을 때는 일반적으로 순서 방식, 장소, 시간을 따릅니다.

I'm going to a party on Friday night.

나는 금요일 밤에 파티에 갈 예정이다.

Adverbials are usually optional,  but sometimes we need them.

부사는 일반적으로 선택사항이지만 때로는 필요할 때도 있습니다.

I was at a party.

나는 파티에 있었다.
