When a short adjective ends in -e, add an -r.

When a short adjective ends in consonant-vowel-consonant,

double the last consonant then add -er.

When a short adjective ends with consonant +y, change the -y to an -i and then add -er.

Now write sentences with three adjectives. Follow the spelling rules.

Here are my examples.

A book is heavier than a phone.

Brazil is hotter than Canada.

A tiger is faster than a turtle.
