English Phrase - 'Don't count your chickens before they've hatched'

I have been asked if I could repeat

the phrase about chickens

it is a great expression

don't count your chickens before they've hatched

so you might have the eggs

but it doesn't mean all of  those eggs will hatch out

and have chickens

so sometimes it is best to be patient

to wait before something happens

it means you have to wait patiently

you have to wait until whatever happens happens

because you don't really know

whether something will go well or not

so you might be making plans for the future

however it is always best

not to count your chickens  before they have hatched out

because they might not all appear
