A Good Night's Sleep - A Really Short English Lesson with Subtitles #shorts

Hey I have two English phrases to teach you this morning.

Ehi, ho due frasi in inglese da insegnarti stamattina.

The first is, in English, we often try to get a "good night's sleep".

Il primo è che, in inglese, spesso cerchiamo di ottenere una "buona notte di sonno".

That means that we slept well.

Ciò significa che abbiamo dormito bene.

I didn't get a good night's sleep, instead I tossed and turned all night, that means

Non ho dormito bene la notte, invece mi sono rigirato e rigirato tutta la notte, il che significa

like when you're in bed you're just flipping around the whole time.

che quando sei a letto ti giri tutto il tempo.

Anyways, a good night's sleep is what I wanted instead I ended up tossing and turning.

Ad ogni modo, una buona notte di sonno è quello che volevo, invece ho finito per rigirarmi.

You can see we got some snow, I got my wish from yesterday.
