Speak English with confidence by fixing common errors | 'sometime' or 'some time'? (EZEE #2)

Welcome to Lesson 2 in my series called EZEE, which stands for

'Easy to Zap English Errors'를 의미하는 EZEE라는 시리즈의 레슨 2에 오신 것을 환영합니다.

'Easy to Zap English Errors'.

As you know from Lesson 1, this series is all about discovering and deleting

some common mistakes from your English  with one purpose:

For me, there are two important aspects to confidence:

The first one is not getting embarrassed when we make a mistake

첫 번째는 실수를 했을 때 당혹스러워하지 않는 것입니다.

because mistakes are a natural part of learning.

왜냐하면 실수는 학습의 자연스러운 부분이기 때문입니다.

And the second one is being able to detect and correct our own mistakes

두 번째는

우리 자신의 실수를 감지하고 바로잡을 수 있는 것입니다.

because when we can do that, we begin to see and feel our progress.

So my goal in this series is not just to make you aware of common mistakes

따라서 이 시리즈의 목표는

일반적인 실수를 알리는 것이

but mainly to show you how to correct them yourself.

아니라 주로 실수를 직접 수정하는 방법을 보여주는 것입니다.

It is important that you understand where your mistakes come from and develop the ability to self-correct.

실수가 어디에서 왔는지 이해하고

스스로 수정할 수 있는 능력을 개발하는 것이 중요합니다.

If you just get the corrections without understanding why and remain confused,

이유를 이해하지 못한 채 수정만 받고

혼란스러운 상태를 유지한다면

the mistakes will usually not go away.

대개 실수는 사라지지 않을 것입니다.

Okay! With that in mind, let's now look at two  words that can easily be confused with each other.

서로 쉽게 혼동될 수 있는 두 단어를 살펴보겠습니다.

These are the words 'time' and 'times'.

이들은 '시간'과 '시간'이라는 단어입니다. 차이점을

Let's make sure you understand the difference between them

and can use them correctly.
